So anyway, let me go ahead and open our Bibles. We’re going to go to the book of Romans and we’ll go to chapter 10 One of the verses that is oftentimes misused is Romans 10 9 That if I was to confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus I want to stop right there because it really should read Jesus as Lord, but what happens so often? He is with many people. They have been taught wrong and they take it that means master or lord of your life and they say that to confess him as your lord would mean that you submit to the Lordship of Christ and our obedient and serving Christ all of your life.

That’s not really what this is saying. In the context is clearly here talking about Jesus is God and the quotes here are from the Old Testament. where the word is God’s personal name, the Tetragrammaton, the YHWH, which we often translate or pronounce as Jehovah or Yahweh. And it’s really talking about you must acknowledge the deity of Christ in order to be safe. Give your Bible there. Turn it up to the Book of Philippians. Let me take you to a little sidebar here.

And in the Book of Philippians, it tells us about Jesus, Jesus is God. This is essential and a major doctrine in the Bible. To deny the deity of Christ means you are not accepting the Jesus of the Bible and if you don’t then you will not be saved. We know it tells us over in 1 John 2, 23, whosoever denyeth the Son the same hath not the Father. The cults all deny the Jesus of the Bible and deny his deity and therefore they do not have the father in that amazing always think of the jose witnesses they are the whole of this there’s a whole of this you see they denied the son and if they didn’t have a son they didn’t they don’t have the fathers so they don’t have jojoba or yahweh and that’s too bad and we need to pray for them

that we might be able to lead them out of that darkness into the light well we find the wonderful book of Philippians tells us in chapter 2 that Jesus, who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. So here we have a verse that tells us that Jesus was in the form of God and he thought it not robbery to be equal with God because he is God. Jesus is God. But it says here as he took on flesh, he made himself of no reputation and took upon him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of Ben.

Jesus took on the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of Ben and was found in fashion as a man. He humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Here we have God picking on flesh and humbling himself. a man, he becomes obedient to the Father, and then he goes to the cross and dies for our sins. Verse 9 tells us that, therefore, God also has highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name.

The name Jesus is above every name in the universe. It is really God’s name, combined with another Hebrew word that means salvation, Yasha, and Yahweh and Yahshah together are Yeshua, and Yeshua occurs over 130 times in the Old Testament, and in English it’s pronounced Jesus. Jesus is the name which is above every name, the highest name in the universe, and look at what it says in verse 10 of Philippians 2, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow of things in heaven, things in the earth, and things under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Now here is what you have as a clear explanation of what we have in Romans 10 and 9, and that is to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. And it really means there, he is Yahweh or Jehovah, the God of the Old Testament, and guess What? This is a great passage because this very same passage is a quote from the Old Testament where we clearly have it being Jehovah. Turn if you will. We’ll come back to Flip-ins but turn if you will to Isaiah 45 and in this wonderful chapter of Isaiah 45, it talks about God the Creator in verse 18.

For thus say, Lord, by the way, a little lesson here, if you look at the word Lord here, all capitals, all capitals. And that is the translators letting you and me know in the King James that this is coming from the name of God, which is for consonants, the technical term we call it the tetragrammaton, and it is YHWH. Nobody really knows how to pronounce this. In 1611 the King James translators put three vowels from the Hebrew word, Autodoi.

The Bibleline is the Bibleline radio with Dr. Hank Lindstrom. But more recently, they have decided to break it into two syllables and use the vowels A and E. So it would be Y-A-H-W-E-H, which would be pronounced Yahweh. If you’ve heard of that, would you raise your hand? All right, I see many of you. You have heard the most popular… a new way of pronouncing the name, but guess what? Nobody really knows how to pronounce the name of God. The pronunciation has been lost to us.

There are no vowel sounds or punctuation marks in the Hebrew, and because the Jews stopped pronouncing it long ago, way back when, because they were afraid of violating the commandment that says not to take the name of the Lord I got in vain, the pronunciation has been lost. But in case, Yahweh is the one that is speaking here in Isaiah 45 and he says in verse 22, look unto me. Look unto me and be saved. I’ve had people tell me salvation isn’t mentioned in the Old Testament.

Are they reading the same Bible? It’s quite clear here. Look unto me and be saved. Who? Notice this is all the ends of the earth. Everybody on the planet is affected by whether or not they would receive the Savior who is God Himself who took on your flesh for Jesus Christ. And look at what He says here, I am God and there is none else. I am God and there is none else. We just read in verse 18 of Isaiah 45 that He created the heavens.

He created the universe. This is the God we’re talking about. He created the sun, the moon, and the stars. Guess what? Not every religion worships the same God. The Muslims, for example, worship Allah, and he’s the moon god. That was one of the tribal gods in the deserts out there in Saudi Arabia, and Mohammed simply picked one of those tribal gods and made him their god. And guess what? Every time you see a prayer tower, a minaret, all over the Middle East, and we have them here in Tampa, at the University of Tampa, we have these prayer towers, these minarets.

Guess what’s at the top of each one of them? A crescent moon, that’s right! Because the prayers go up to the moon! They pray to the moon God! Oh my goodness! You know, on our ambul Bermulans we have a Red Cross. Because why? We believe in Jesus and the death of the Cross and that He’s the God who can save and redeem and He can hear our prayers and He can heal us and so on. But if you look at the ambulances in the whole Muslim world, they have a crescent moon!

They pray to the moon! In case they are injured or wounded or hurt, they need help. They pray to the moon to get help. Look at what God says here. I am God and there is none else. Verse 22 of Isaiah 45, look unto me and be ye saved all the ends of the earth for I am God and there is none else. He says that in verse 23, I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness and shall not return.

What does that mean? God is never going to take his work back. He’s not going to change his mind. I used to remember as a child, kids would make promises and then they would say, well, I take my promise back or that promise doesn’t count because my fingers were crossed or my shoelaces were tied or they were crossed and and so on. All this crazy nonsense. And you know that was irritating and of course upsetting when somebody would take back a promise that they had made.

But God will never do that. He says, My word has gone forth in righteousness and shall not return. That means God is never going to take His word back. What you find here in the Bible is permanent. Peter tells us in the New Testament, the word of God, liveeth at abideth forever and ever. Now get ready, here in Isaiah 45 verse 23, he says here that unto me, this is what he swore, this is what is given forth out of his mouth, this is what shall not return, that unto me every knee shall bow, in every tongue shall swear.

Wow, that’s what we’ve just read in Philippians, and we find that it tells us there in Philippians that Jesus is God and that He is the one that this is talking about in Isaiah, that unto me every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is… God, He is Jehovah or Yahweh. You cannot be saved any other way. And then it says that the one who believes on Christ will not be ashamed. He’ll be righteous in God’s sight because of Christ’s substitutionary death in his place.

Let me go back to Philippians 2 because it says that Jesus has been highly exalted and given a name above every name and in Philippians 2 verse 10 it says that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow of things in heaven. and things in earth and things into the earth and that every tongue should contest it. Jesus Christ is Yahweh or Jehovah that he is the God of creation, the God of the Bible, the God that created the sun, moon and the stars and told us not to worship any one of them.

Whereas the Muslims worship the moon and all is the moon God and that’s who they pray to. They certainly are darkness and need to be led to the Lord as their Savior and they They can be one to Christ. They can be one to Christ. I’ve led Muslims to Christ. You need to tell them or when they die, they’ll be forever separated from God. One day every Muslim in hell will confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord, that He’s the Creator, that He is Yahweh or Jehovah, the God of the Bible, the God who came and took on Him in flesh in the person of Jesus Christ.

Well, that’s what the Bible is talking about in Romans 10, 9. It’s not talking about submitting to the Lordship and being obedient, which is works for salvation, is talking about recognizing who Christ is and that He is the Savior and that He’s the one who died and paid our sin debt in full. When you trust Him, God’s Savior, I’m Dr. Inghorn, and this is Bible and we’ve got people waiting and we are going to go to Brad and Clearwater.

james welcome to my blind and uh… good to have you on board today thank you they’ve got here all right thank you okay The question I have is about the Mormons. What is their faith all about? What do they do to you? do they do they acknowledge cry for you know what is that basis for their uh… what’s not made as a point to their religion i’m going to hang up with the answer thank you very much james uh…

the Mormons aren’t even Christian. They believe that Satan and Jesus are brothers. They teach that they all have migrated here from the pamant colob, T-O-L-O-B, and that their God Elohim was having lots of spiritual babies, spiritual children, that they needed bodies for these spirits. And so they had a council of twelve of Elohim’s sons, and they drew Lot says to who would go to the planet earth and begin to produce bodies and the Lot fell on Jesus and so Jesus was dispatched from the planet Colab KOLOB and he arrived here at the earth and became the atom god that started making bodies and so the moment the ology says really the more babies you can make the greater chances you have of going higher and higher in your spirituality.

In fact, you can pass Jesus and surpass him if you have enough kids. So this was a polygamous cult and we have some in the news right now that are off shoots of the… Merman religion, but they believed in having many wives and many children Brigham Young who took them West to Utah was actually going to Utah to flee. The laws of this country is a country was developing before Utah was a state and they could practice their polygamy out there and of course he had seventeen wives and fifty-four children and that was Brigham Young, he was setting the example 17 wives and fifty-four children and by the way according to the more mythology, got jealous that Jesus was chosen and not him.

And so he rebelled and came down to the earth and according to the more mythology all the black races have come forth from Satan. They don’t say it too loudly today but basically anybody who is black in color has come from Satan according to Mormons. That’s more mythology and they believe that there is no hell and that to go to heaven you have to keep the commandments, you have to be water baptized and you have to work, work work work work and obviously they’re not even close to being christian they deny the uh…

the idea for jesus christ is the god of the bible the god of creation and the only means of salvation through his death and shed blood across so the mormons are lost they need our prayers we need to win the christ and uh… pray for these folks there’s a lot of folks out there to see the many different cults and groups and the mormons are one of those that are growing like crazy and yet they’re not even close to being christian although they claim that they are their book of mormon contradicts the bible and obviously it cannot be from god because the bible says that we’re to contend jude one three jude one three we’re to contend for the faith which was once delivered under the saints so if some new faith comes along or some of the blue new belief comes along the contradicts the bible we already have

then it’s clearly wrong and that’s of course the case here thank you so very much we are now going to go to uh… ken in our rather been in zephyr hills florida then welcome to bible and you’re on the earth yes hello good morning dr hank my question is regarding that matthew chapter twelve they can there in verse twenty six uh… he’s divided against himself how shall his kingdom stand and i asked this in light of uh… this these alleged that revival is going on around florida uh…

and when someone disputes that these are uh… miracles from god uh… this is one of the things they come back with is saying that uh… well satan can’t cast out himself so these must be from god and i’ll hang up an answer or or listen thank you very much thank you ben actually uh… they satan doesn’t cast out satan and demons i i believe rather than being cast out in the so-called healing meetings are actually uh… uh… uh… are actually indwelling people i believe that uh…

these are meetings where you are a good candidate to become demon involved you have problems uh… generally following that these meetings i know that up in the brownsville revival of the north florida uh… they called it the twitching movement and i know a lady in our church or sister to her family and her son down to Pensacola, Florida to those meetings and he got the twitching and she took him to doctors. He would twitch in his sleep, he’d twitch in school, he’d twitch all day long and his body would just kind of shake and he’d twitch and I believe that’s demonic and the doctors had no care and I don’t know that he ever recovered from that but she was so terribly concerned over her son that he could not even get a moment’s rest at night.

He would twitch all night long and I think these are demonic things and many of these are coming to us from other countries. I think America, which used to be a stronghold of God’s Word and the demons were kind of held off, are now invading America. And I think we’re seeing in these signs of one of those miracles meetings which I believe are totally false. Miami, we’re so glad to have you on the air down there and we’re glad to hear from Miami and getting callers now more often and we’re excited.

I just wanted to know if that’s possible.

Well, I don’t believe the tongues that today the modern tongue movement is the real biblical gift and I don’t believe it comes from the Lord. All I think in a lot of it is just people imitating other people but sometimes it is demon-driven. If you read Isaiah the one verse that really talks about this gibberish, it talks about the peeping and muttering, it definitely connects it with demons and it talks about the two types of gibberish that we have today in the tongues movement.

high pitch rapid chirping sound which is what is described in Isaiah chapter 8 and then also the lower or more slow sound which some do and those are just from demons according to Isaiah chapter 8 the Bible tells us not to get involved with that to stay away from it and I would agree with her don’t go in the direction of tongues. When you’re in church next, take your stopwatch out and actually count how many verses are quoted, how many minutes are devoted to the Word of God and the teaching of it, and you’ll find sometimes it’s not even there at all and that is unfortunate. We’re living in a day when the Bible is really not even quoted even by preachers and I know we’ve had some of our graduates here talk about their Baccalaureate Services and the name of Jesus has not even mentioned.

Wow, I know years ago I did a number of Baccalaureate Services for different high schools in this area and I was able to preach the gospel, but apparently nobody has the courage to do that anymore. They probably would receive all kinds of criticism. But you know, it’s a religious service and I don’t see why the preachers will keep their mouths shut, but this is an age when we’ve been silenced. And when people are not getting the word of God, even in church and in a religious service.

Pray for America, pray for Bible and that we can get this message out. We believe that there is an urgency because Christ is coming back soon. Could you help my blind moorlister support it? And many, Many many are succumbing to these pressures and many preachers are hardly ever teaching the Bible anymore and they do not say anything of any significance as far as God is concerned because they are not preaching the Word.

The Word of God is what is to be preached. In the 2 Timothy chapter 4 we find the scripture there to preachers in this book of pastoral epistles where Paul writes to young Timothy a young preacher. He says, preach the word, be instant in season, out of season, rebuke, reprove, exhort with all long suffering in doctrine, and then it tells us about today. For the time will come, the time will come, and it’s come already, friend. The time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine.

But after their own lust, they will heap to themselves, teachers, having itching ears, and they’ll turn away their ears from the truth, the Word of God, and be turned on the fables. They’ll be turned on the lies and fables. Tails and we’re seeing it happen and it’s amazing how that the majority don’t even recognize it’s happening, but it’s happening right now. We’re living in a time when people want to have their ears tickled and they’re not concerned about whether they really get the getting the truth or not.

And so they listen to lies and fables and oftentimes accept them as being true. There’s a lot of fairytale out there today and a lot of things which are a contract of the Bible and we need to go back to our Bibles. Well anyway, I’m Dr. Ankerman and this is Bible and it’s great to be with you. All through the Bible it speaks of the mystery of Christ. And I was just wondering what the mystery was. And also I go past things about Moses and the O-Bibe Old Testament of Moses and the clouds and the trees. And if you could explain that, I’d appreciate it. Oh, good shot, Linda. Thank you so very much.

Little of mystery is, of course, there’s a couple of verses that use that word. The word mystery doesn’t mean something that’s complicated. Doesn’t mean something that cannot be understood. But it means something that maybe had not been revealed or explained before, but now is being revealed or is made clear. Well let’s go ahead and take a look at a verse which will probably explain it for you. It says over here in Colossians chapter 1 in verse 28 to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles which is the answer, Linda, Christ in you the hope of glory.

This age which began at Pentecost was not revealed in the Old Testament and the mystery is that during this age, God would turn to the Gentiles. And bring the gospel to them and that Christ would in dwell every one of those that would believe. If you are a believer, then at the moment you believe on Christ, the Holy Spirit came to endwell your body. And of course, that means that Jesus came and dwelt in you because all three members of the Godhead are present in our body which are in His temple.

Let me read the verse again. Classings 128, this is the verse you need to know, to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles. And this is the mystery. What’s the answer? It says, which is Christ in you the hope of glory? Christ would dwell in the believer in this age. That was true in the Old Testament, but does apply to every believer today. The other question about Moses, in 1 Corinthians 10, you must be making allusion to that.

We know that when Moses crossed the Red Sea with the children of Israel as God parted the sea, it tells us in 1 Corinthians 10 that more over brethren, verse 1 of chapter 10 of 1 Corinthians, I would not have you that you should be ignorant that how all our fathers were under the cloud and all passed through the sea. And we’re all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea. I’m not sure that’s what you’re making reference to, but the whole nation of Israel was immersed as a nation in the cloud and in the sea as they crossed across on dry ground when God parted the sea.

And this was a picture of a redeemed people, redeemed by the blood of the Passover Lamb, a picture of Christ dying at Calvary and providing salvation for all that would believe on Him. And we as believers are included in that redemption that Israel experienced through the blood way back there as they came out of Egypt. And we experience when we trust in the blood of the Lamb, the Lord Jesus as our Savior. Linda, thank you for that call and I hope that helps and we hope that you’ll keep on listening.

We have a number of offer questions. We’re going to try to take a couple of those. We have Saul in Bradenton, Florida and Saul calls in and leaves this question about Romans chapter 3 and he says, could I explain, please, verse 27 through 31. So let’s just take a look at what it says there. In verse 27 it says, where is boasting then? It is excluded. Well what it’s saying here, Psalm, is that salvation is a gift and it’s not by works and therefore any boasting that we might do is excluded.

There’s nothing for us to boast about. All we can do is say, God saved me. I was lost and I couldn’t save myself and we can just say our salvation is in the Lord. I heard a country western song a number of years ago and it had the theme in the words that if anyone makes it to heaven, Lord, surely I will. If anyone makes it to heaven, Lord, surely I will. And it talked about how this person went to church and how they prayed and how they were faithful and if anyone makes it to heaven, Lord, surely I would not sit for it.

they ignorant of the Bible because truly they won’t. If you’re trusting in your works, you won’t make heaven. And those people who are bragging are obviously telling you they’re putting their confidence in their works or salvation. And the Bible says the plan of salvation eliminates any boasting and bragging because there’s not a thing you can do to be saved but trust in the finished work of Jesus. It says in Romans 3, 27, where is posting Then it is excluded by what law it says of works.

Oh But by the law of faith so we know that because of faith and not by works. There’s no boasting I can’t say I deserve to go to heaven that I earn my way. I did my part There’s no part that we can play except to receive so it’s a verse 28 and Hopefully this is answering your question. We conclude Here’s the conclusion of the first three chapters of the book of Romans. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith, and then it says, without, without, without, without, without works, without the deeds of the law.

So we’re justified by faith, without works. Can you think of a verse in the Bible that says we’re saved by faith and not by works? Well, here it is! Romans 3, 28, therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith, without works, without the deeds of the law. And of course there are many more. Jesus is the gift of God, not of works. A standing man should boast. Then it says in verse 29 here, is God the God of the Jews only?

And the answer is of course no. Is he not also the God of the Gentiles? The answer is a plain yes in verse 29 in Romans 3. He is the God of the Gentiles also. Verse 30 says, He’s seeing it is one God, it’s only one God and we mentioned that earlier. God says I am the Lord and there is no God beside me back in Isaiah 45 that recorded earlier in the program. There’s only one God and only one Savior and He says look in to me and be saved.

And so it says here seeing as one God which will justify the Jews, it calls them here the circumcision by faith and justify the uncircumcision, that’s the Gentiles through faith. They’re both saved the same way. Jews are saved by faith in Christ. Gentiles are saved by faith in Christ. There’s no other means of salvation. Saul and Bradenton, I hope that helps. And thank you for being patient to wait for the answer of your offer question. We have Joseph at Safety Harbor and he writes in and says, Faith healers and wealth preachers like Richard Roberts, Joel Osteen and Joyce Myers rarely if ever teach the true gospel.

So why does God let them continue and not judge them till now? I believe God is allowing people to get what they want. We just quoted a moment ago. 2 Timothy 4 says that the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but will So heaps of themselves teachers having itching ears and they will turn away their ears from the truth and be turning the fables. In other words, they just will not tolerate good solid Bible teaching anymore.

And that’s happening. People want to be entertained. They want to have their ears tickled. And churches that are really just teaching the Bible are not the ones that are bursting out at the seams. But the ones that entertain people have lots of music and lots of other exciting things going on. the ones that are attracting the big crowds. Isn’t that amazing? And by the way, if you’re attracted by the big crowds, just remember that the big crowds are not always right.

In the days of Noah, how many people believed there was a coming flood? If I recall, it tells me in my Bible that only eight people know it as wife and as three sons of their wives believed that the flood was coming. All the rest didn’t believe it. They just said, we can’t tolerate this sound doctrine. We don’t want to hear that. We want to hear something else. And so I’m sure the weather forecasters of that day were forecasting fear weather and no rain.

And guess what? The rain came and the earth was flooded and everybody drowned except those eight people that had the truth. My friend don’t follow the crowd. be misled oftentimes. It says that in the Old Testament many times Israel was guilty of following after the crowd and following after the latest fad and seeking after signs and wonders and the Bible says you don’t want to do that. It talks about being quiet and listening to that quiet still voice of God as he speaks to us through his word.

Well we live in an age when there’s lots of false preacher’s choice, Myers, you just mentioned, says she hasn’t sinned in the past ten years. I find that very, very interesting. Especially since the Bible says in 1 John 1 8, if we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. Joyce, I can’t believe you haven’t sinned in ten years. All right, we’re going to go now to Joe and Pimbroke Pines down in South Florida, and He writes in and asks the question about John 15.

Let’s go over there and take a look at the verse that he’s asking about. John chapter 15, by the way, if you want to call in, the number is 1-800-576-3771. And you’re welcome to give us a call here. First Corinthians, or rather John’s Gospel, chapter 15, and the question is about verse 22. If I had not come and spoken unto them, then they had not sinned, but now they have no cloak for their sin. So obviously, I think he’s talking about here, that here they were actually able to see God and flesh the Lord Jesus Christ.

As they rejected him, they had no cloak for their sandwiches. The sin here I believe of unbelief, which is the only sin that can cause a person to be lost and go to hell. There’s only one sin that will cause you to be forever lost. Jesus said he to believe it’s not on Christ is condemned already, John 3 18, because because because it says he hath not believed on the name and only be out in Son of God. So here they had actually seen him and they rejected him and they had no answer, no excuse, no cloak for their sin.

And so they were guilty and would not be forgiven if they died without trusting Christ. We have Liz in Tampa, Florida. Liz, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the earth. Hi. Just have a quick question. I’ve been listening to the conversation. When believers attend these charismatic churches that you’re speaking of and they speak in tongues and accept all the manifestations that go with it, do they lose their salvation? No, nobody can lose their salvation if you’re genuinely saved, but obviously you become, you know, off a sidetracked.

It’s amazing to me that the people that do the gibberish, their main mission is to get other people to do the gibberish. That’s only a rabbit trail going the wrong direction. In March 1615, the Great Commission is to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. That’s where most churches are failing today. If we could get every church to get online with a great commission, I think maybe we could turn this country around. Very few churches are doing that.

Most churches it become social units or social clubs and they are kind of exclusive and they’re not trying to reach out to the world at least to hear the gospel and they’re not proclaiming the gospel. Usually the message they give is a perversion of the gospel because I was raised in church for 18 years and I heard all kinds of different things that I had to do to go to heaven but I never heard that Jesus paid it all and if I simply trusted him that he would save me and I’d go to heaven based on what he did for me and not what I would do for him.

I guess my question was, or the one I was thinking, was you thought that they were basically possessed by demons this day? I said, some are. I think most of them are just following the peer pressure. You’re being expected to do the gibberish. And I’ve bought things from all these different preachers. I have one lessons on, 10 lessons on how to speak in tongues by Carl Strader that used to be over there in Lakeland. and basically he suggested several things, everything for putting marbles in your mouth and trying to speak with him in your mouth or holding on your Adam’s apple and jiggling it while you try to speak.

And obviously if it’s a gift you don’t need to do any of that nonsense to get it. Right, over the last thing revival. Yeah, so some of these people are just following whatever is being expected of them and they do it. But Isaiah does talk about a gibberish, the real gibberish that is done by the witch doctor and the medium and the satanic seance and different religions around the world. And that oftentimes is from the devil himself and demonically inspired.

Okay, well thank you very much. You’re very welcome. No, not everybody is demon possessed. I don’t look around for demons everywhere. but some of it is really genuinely from the devil and most of their bills are just being copycats and trying to copy what the others are doing. But the real gift is given by God and is ceased. It was to speak a known language as a particular dialect of that language without any training. We’re going to go to North Port, Florida and we’re going to talk to Georgia in North Port, Florida down south of Tampa.

Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Good morning. I was warning in the Old Testament. It tells you to multiply and be fruitful. Now, in this day and age, I’m wondering if there’s anything in the New Testament that works, you know, we don’t want to have these big families like everyone used to have. And is it simple not to? Well, you know, I don’t think God intended for that to happen. And sadly, today, we are seeing, I think, one or 1.5 children per family.

And that’s, I think, not what God intended. And believe that what God said in Genesis is still true today. And that doesn’t mean that you have to actively say, I don’t have a family. I know my dad was one of nine children. and many of the families of my grandparents age were many, many children and they It was so wonderful to have so many uncles and aunts growing up because of that and it was so great for the family.

But today a lot of people are going through life and having no children and they have nobody to be with them and they get older and nobody to enjoy in the way of God intended I think families to enjoy one another so that’s kind of sad. sure the new test and saying anything one way or the other right it doesn’t say that but it obviously implies you know that parents are going to have children and uh… but lots of old testament verses that says blessed is a man who has his quiver for the talking about children in the song and uh…

and uh… certainly it’s uh… a blessing from god but no i don’t know the first in the test that tells you to multiply and have lots of kids okay thank you all right and uh… we’re going to go now to you don in that clear water for a done welcome the bible and you are on the air yes i can’t get all the water in the field of paper for time this morning about the code for the soldiers shooting the car and no i didn’t read that i missed it well you should because it’s pretty interesting that they removed him from a rack i guess is what they were saying and uh…

heroes of our country give me liberty or give me death and that’s right and that stood up willing to be martyred for their beliefs and the truth which really were uh… pretty much all right out of the bible back in those early days when the bible was our textbook in our country and people believe that we’ve drifted a long way and you get a chance read that i will okay thank you sir all right thank you don and uh…

Yeah, just on the topic of tone, I know God is able to do everything in a kind that he wants to, but I just want to share this fun fact with you. There were two instances, one time I was witnessing to a lady who was Jewish, and I was, you know, she was going through some things, and I told her that, you know, Christ is part of, you know, through Christ’s all things are possible.

So she told me, she said, well, sir, I’m Jewish. I don’t believe that crisis for you. This lady was a archeologist. She was even a seminar down at USF one day. And she said she found this thing that held on. That said, she told me in Hebrew, but she said it said, David, King of the Jews. But she said in Hebrew, and I had automatically said it because that was a fire lot. So the lady looked at me, she said, well, how did you know that?

I don’t know, man, but just found right there. And there was another time there was a guy, he was a Jehovah witness, I was going to the school one day here. I seen him reading the watchtower thing, and they’re like, he wanted a minister to him. But I walked by this guy, I just told him, I said, no matter how you doing, I kept on walking. And as I’m walking down the road, the guy pulls up behind me, and he asked me, do you speak quench?

I was like, no, sir. He said, man, you just spoke to me in perfect branch. And I looked at him like you were crazy, and I said, no, man. But I just kept on walking. But as the scripture says that, you know, it’s a town that I learned. And that’s what I just want to know. Is it possible that God can, you know, let me see what’s happening at different times in the person life? Because I know these people were straight on belief.

Yeah. Well, I don’t believe it’s happening at all today. And I believe that the gift would cease 1 Corinthians 13, 8 to 10, tells us it would come to an utter and complete halt, and it did. What we have today is, of course, Satan trying to play with our minds and to confuse us and brings us a counterfeit which is a gibberish which is not really the true gift at all. We have an anonymous caller from who knows where?

No city and no name and we’re going to tackle this one. Anonymous, welcome to Bio One. Dr. Linsstrom about this tongue thing. If they read in their book in the Bible in Corinthians it clearly says that the greatest gift of all of these is love and if you don’t have love you don’t have nothing. the parts and grandians were says that they take the whole chapter in contact. At the end of the chapter it clearly states that God said he would rather you prophesied and to speak in an unknown tongue, like 10,000 words in unknown tongue.

Five words in a known tongue would be better than those 10,000, but the greatest something is love. And I just wanted to share that with everybody who’s getting confused about the tongue. Thank you and have a good day. Thank you. You did a good job. And you’re right. And Paul said that. He said, I’d rather speak five words in a language that you can hear and understand than 10,000 words in a language you would not understand. and you And you know you can say a lot in five words.

If you gave me just an opportunity to have a large crowd and say five words, I would say, trust Christ and be saved. Well, that’s pretty powerful, isn’t it? Trust Christ and be saved. Five words. And you can lead people to Christ with that. Wouldn’t that be great? I’m out of time. Boy, I tell you, Bible, I just thought, we’re having a good time. We enjoy being with you.
