And we’d love to talkartney. So if you have your Bible, get it out. We’re going to go ahead and take a look at a couple of verses. We’re going to go to 2 Corinthians 5 verse 21. What a great verse that explains what happened at the cross of Calvary 2,000 years ago.

It says, for He that is God hath made Him, that is Jesus Christ, to be sin for us Christ who knew no sin. That means that Christ was absolutely without sin. Sin was God and flesh that He was made to be sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. I was raised in church. ever told me, never did I ever hear that you had to be as righteous as God himself in order to enter heaven.

That’s right. The Bible says all of us have come short of that. And there’s no way that you and I can ever attain that by anything that we do. I’m amazed at how many people are trying to work their way to heaven. And I was raised in a church that was taught exactly that. We were on our upward way, gaining new heights every day. Jesus wanted me for a sunbeam. I remember all these little phrases as a little boy.

I never, never, never knew that I had to be as righteous as God to go to heaven. Did that ever shock me? And you know, the Bible is very clear about this. And it says in 2 Corinthians 5, 21, that God took your sin and my sin and made Jesus Christ to be sinned for us. Christ who is without sin never committed a single active sin, so that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. Think about it.

If you were as righteous as God, could you be certain of going to heaven? And the answer is of course, if you’re as righteous as God, you’re gonna walk right on in. And by the way, that’s the requirement. Anything less than that, you will not enter heaven. What a one-over. It talks about the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ at the cross. What do we mean by that? Jesus took your place. He took my place. He took the sins that you and I would commit throughout our whole lifetime.

Upon himself as God made him to be sin for us, Christ who knew no sin that we might be made the very righteousness of God in him. It’s quite an amazing concept when you think about it. You know when the soldiers took Jesus and they took those spikes and they drove them through his hands and through his feet. They really should have driven them through your hands and through my hands and your feet and my feet. Jesus was940 dying to pay for what you and I had done wrong.

He is the substitute sacrifice and we really should have been nailed to that cross. But Jesus stepped in, took our place and they drove the nails through his sinless body. Jesus never did anything wrong. Heotiation didn’t die because of anything he had done wrong. He died because of what you and I have done wrong. This verse tells it like it is. Second Corinthians 521, I hope you’ll write it down. Second Corinthians 521, that God made Christ to be sin for you and me.

Christ who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. The amazing thing is that this whole story was also told in the Old Testament long before Jesus ever came. Isaiah, chapter 53, what an incredible chapter, tells about the story of the cross, 740 years before Jesus ever came the first time. And it says in verse 6, all we like sheep. Isaiah 53, 6, all we like sheep have gone astray. We have turned everyone to his own way.

And then it says, but the Lord hath laid on him Jesus the iniquity of us all. There you have the same truth that we’re studying here in 2 Corinthians 5, 21 that we’re sinners and God took our sin our iniquity and laid it upon him. And he made the payment for us. Look at verse 5 this is Isaiah 53 now, 700 years before Jesus ever came, the first time, we’re talking about 2700 years ago. That’s a long time ago.

God foretold the future and told when Christ would come and what He would do. And it says in verse 5, He was wounded. He was wounded speaking about Jesus now. 740 years before He ever came. He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes, we are healed.” I love that. Wow, it tells about, think about it. It tells you about what happened at the cross, that Jesus Christ was wounded for our transgressions.

He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes, we are healed all we like sheep have gone astray. We’ve turned everyone to his own way and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Second Corinthians 521 in the New Testament after the fact says that God made Christ to be sinned for you and me. Christ who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

You know, once you trust Christ, you can read Isaiah 53 in the first person. How powerful it is. Let me go back to verse 5 of Isaiah 53 where it says, He was wounded for my transgressions. That’s right, I trusted Jesus Christ as the substitute sacrifice for my sins and it says there in verse 5, He was wounded for and I can read it in the first person because it’s real for me. He was wounded for my transgressions. He was bruised for my iniquities.

The chastisement of my peace was upon him and with his stripes I am healed. I like a sheep have gone astray. I went my own way, but the Lord took my iniquity and laid it upon Jesus Christ. Wow, isn’t that exciting? I’ll tell you that was the best news I ever heard. I thought I had to earn my way to heaven and I didn’t see how I could do it and when I found out that I had to be as righteous as God to go to heaven I realized it was impossible.

It was impossible. The Bible makes it clear that it’s impossible. Well, this is not of works. It’s not of your obedience. It’s not by your behavior. I was raised in church and I only we used to sing a course only believe, but really what message got it through into my head as a little boy was only behave. Only behave. All things are possible. If you only behave, that was the kind of message I was getting. You have to behave.

You have to live the Christian life. You have to be good. You have to do your best. and one day you’ll earn your way to heaven. That is exactly the opposite of what the Bible teaches. The Bible teaches that your works and my works are filthy rags, that they will not pay for even one sin. And if you come to God with your hands full of your works and deeds, guess what? You’ll be kicked out of heaven. You will not enter.

Because your works and my works, no matter how good or well intended, are filthy rags inside of God. That’s why Jesus said, forget that. God says, I’m going to make the payment for you. I love you and I will take your sins and lay them upon Jesus Christ and make him to be sinned for you. for you, Christ who was without sin at all, so that you might be made the righteousness of God in him.” That is really quite remarkable.

As a result, 2nd Corinthians chapter 5 also tells us that because of the fact that Jesus did that for us, we can be confident, it says in verse 8, that when we die as believers, there will be absent from the body and present with the Lord, absent from the body and present with the Lord. Did you know that? At the instant you die, there’s no lingering. The spirit doesn’t hang out with the body for a while. It doesn’t kind of roam around the cemetery for a while.

When you die as a believer at the very instant of death, your soul leaves your body and is instantly present with the Lord in heaven. Isn’t that incredible? And you’re going to a brand new body in heaven. That body will be a perfect body. It’ll be like Christ’s body. And it’ll be a body that will enjoy forever and ever and ever in heaven. And guess what? It’ll be a youthful body. If you’re older, you’re going to probably be about 33 years old in appearance in your resurrection body.

That’s the age of Christ when he was crucified. He came back in that very same body and the Bible says, we will get bodies like Christ’s body. And And so if you’re young, you’ll become older and become about 33 years of age. There will be no children running around in heaven. Everybody who dies as a child will have an adult body. And if you’re older, you’ll be younger and that you’ll be in the prime of life in your resurrection body.

Second Corinthians 5, 8, absent from the body, present with the Lord, all because of verse 21 that God made Christ to be sinned for you. do new notes in that we might be made the righteousness of God. Best news you’re ever going to hear. I hope you’ve trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior and received this wonderful gift of everlasting life. I’m Dr. Englund Strimb, this is Bible and we’re going to go to the phone lines. The phone number is 1-800-576-3771.

1-800-576-3771. We’re going to go down to Levita. She’s in Lake Worth, Florida. And Lavita, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hi Dr. Hank. Good morning. I have a question. Go ahead. Would you please explain to me the difference between the Book of Life, which is mentioned about ten or twelve times in the Bible, and the Lamb’s Book of Life, which is mentioned about twice? All right. I think the Book of Life and the Lamb’s Book of Life are the same.

The Bible also mentions in Revelation chapter 20 there in verses 12 and 13 that there are other books, which apparently are just books that record all of our deeds. And the lost there in Revelation 20 will have their deeds read out of the books and be cast into hell and evaluated and given an degree of punishment, hell based upon those works read out of the books because their name was not found in the book of life, which is the Lamb’s week of life.

So I think the book of life and the Lamb’s week of life are equivalent and the other books plural that are not identified as to what they are, just simply the records as God sees everything that we’ve done and it’s all recorded and one day of course the Christian also will stand at a separate judgment a thousand years earlier at the Rapture where God will read off our works and will be given a degree of reward in them and based upon our deeds.

but the loss will be given a degree of punishment and health based upon their needs, but salvation is a gift and those that believe on Christ will go to heaven, those that reject Christ will go to help. Okay, well, is everybody’s name written in those books or is just the Christian’s name written in the books or when do our names go in the books? I guess that’s what I’m saying. That’s a good question. I believe God puts everybody’s name in the book because he potentially wants everybody to be saved.

And so Christ died for every man, a woman, a child that would ever live. So He puts our name in the book to begin with. The Bible teaches that if you die as an unbeliever, your name gets blotted out at the moment of death. And if you become a believer during your lifetime, Revelation 3.5 says that he makes a promise that from that point on he says I will not bought out your name out of the book of life.

So in other words God makes a promise your name will never come out once you trust Christ. But if you’re an unbeliever you have until the day you draw your last breath and if you dies an unbeliever then he will strike your name from the book. Okay. So they’re both the same book. Yeah. Okay. Hope that helps a little bit. Oh, it helped a great deal. I appreciate it. All right. And thank you so much for that call that it was Levita down in Lake Worth, Florida, across the east coast of Florida.

We have Claude in Toronto, Canada. Claude, welcome to Bibleline from Canada. Welcome to Bibleline. Good morning, Dr. Lynn. Good morning. Okay. What time do we go to heaven? Oh, we’re always heaven because we spend a life. All right. First of all, as a believer, at the moment of of death, we just covered it. You’re absent from the body present with the Lord. That’s heaven. Christ right now is in heaven. And we’ll go to be with Christ at the moment of death and be with him forever thereafter.

Now we will come back with Christ at the second coming seven years after the Rapture and rule and reign with him. But heaven is of course we believe in the North in our universe. We were talking about some science the other day on the program here on By Blind. And we talked about how that there’s a void in the north where there’s a corridor where there are no stars. And in Job chapter 26 verse 7, 3500 years ago, it talks about how God stretches out the north over the empty place and hang a the earth upon nothing.

Well, that empty place is where heaven is. And there are many references to heaven being in the north. You read Leviticus 1, 11, and 12, it says they offered the sacrifices northward before the Lord, implying that God is in the north and they would offer the sacrifices in the direction where God is, which is in the north. Also Psalm 75, 5 tells the salvation comes from the north. In Isaiah 14, when Lucifer wanted to overthrow heaven, he said he wanted to sit in the seat of the Mount of the congregation in the sides of the North.

Apparently also talking about this corridor that has sides where there are no stars, this void in the North where Heaven itself is. That’s where Satan wanted to go. And numerous other references I could quote. But Heaven is in the North when you die, you’re absent from the body, present with the Lord. But we will come back to help Christ rule and reign during his thousand year earthly kingdom, which is the kingdom and promise to the Jewish people since the very beginning.

And he’s going to be king of the Jews at that time and king of kings and Lord of lords as he’ll rule over every nation on the planet very in that thousand years. I hope that helps a little bit, Claude. Yeah, but what I’m saying is after we leave heaven and we come back to live permanently on this earth or the new earth. But we’ll come back and we won’t live here on the New Earth either. We’ll get to enjoy the New Earth, but we’re going to live in the New Jerusalem, which will come down from heaven and I believe will orbit the planet Earth.

If you read chapter 21 of Revelation verse 1, John says, I saw a new heavens and a new earth for the former heavens and the former earth were passed away. And then he says, I saw the heavenly city descending from heaven and it comes down out of the north. And so we find that this wonderful city that God has created, the city of the living God, is going to be where we’re going to live and God will live in that city with us forever and ever and ever.

Read Revolution 21 and 22 and it describes that. I got one more quick question. Last week I called and I asked to the men who were traveling with all the other videos. I really don’t know. We all we know is that they didn’t hear the voice automatically. They heard a sound but they didn’t hear the words and apparently they led him by the hand blind to Damascus and their Paul prayed and he the Lord told him that there was a man named Ananias that would tell him how to be saved and God put and I and Paul together and Paul got saved in D’amaskus.

I’ve been there. I’ve been on the street call straight and I’ve been to the traditional site of where Ananias lived and where apparently Paul got saved, whether it’s the exact house or not. I don’t know but I’ve been there and that’s quite an exciting story, but I used to hear as a little boy that Paul got saved on the Damascus road. That’s not true. He clearly got saved in Damascus. Ananias led him to Christ. Okay. Thank you. All right.

Thank you, Claude. Glad you’re listening up there. in Canada and we are now going to go to George in 4-long, but we have to wait till after the break. We’re so close on the break, George, I’m going to hold you and we will catch your question right after that. This is Bible and I hope everybody listening is trusted Christ as Savior. There’s no other way to get to heaven. Christ said I’m the way of the truth of life and no man can come unto the Father but by me.

Trust Him in Him alone and God will give you the gift of eternal life. Bible and is listed supported. Here we are, halfway through August. We’re short. Alright, we’re back for the break and this is Bibleline. coming to you from Tampa, Florida live and from our studios here at the Calvary Community Church where I’m the pastor and it’s great to be with you.

We’ve had callers already this morning from some different parts of the country and we’re excited about how the fact that we’re reaching really all over the world through the internet. 158 countries have logged on and we have a lot of stations across America where we’re broadcasting live at this very moment. I I hope you’re enjoying the program wherever you might be listening to this program. By the way, this weekend, if you’re in the Tampa Bay area or at least in driving distance somewhere here in Florida, you’re welcome to come and join us for our third Sunday dinner that follows the worship service.

Come at 1030. Join me for the worship service and then stay and be my guest for the dinner that will follow. bring your family, your Bible, your appetite. Come to church at 1030 and then stay for the lunch. A lot of great home-cooked food, a great time of food and fellowship will enjoy each other’s company and I’d love to get a chance to meet you. You’re welcome to come be my guest this Sunday the 17th of August. In the afternoon at three we’re going to have a baptism and And if you have not yet been water baptized, you ought to be.

It doesn’t save you if you died and were never baptized, but yet you trusted Christ as your Savior, you would be saved. Water baptism is a testimony of how you are cleansed of your sin by the blood of Christ. The water is merely symbolic, but it’s a precious service. And I believe that you ought to be water baptized. Then if you were baptized as an infant, it doesn’t count if you were baptized anytime before your salvation experience. It doesn’t count because again, it has to happen after you become saved because it’s a testimony of how you were saved.

So if you’d like to be baptized in our service this Sunday, you’re welcome. Call and get your name on the list. Call and get information. and we’ll include you this Sunday in our baptism at three o’clock in the afternoon. So 1030 worship service, then the dinner will follow, and then we’ll go to the baptism for those that want to be baptized. Bring all your family, friends, bring cameras, and it ought to be a wonderful, wonderful event. By the way, we are talking about a trip to Israel in February of next year.

We have the brochures, now they came in, and we have mailed them out already to those who have given us their name and have expressed an interest if you would like to have us mail you a brochure for the trip to Israel call in today and give us your name and address and tell us you want the Israel brochure will mail it out if you can’t wait and you want to look at it on the internet go to the internet go to the homepage go to Bibleline news, it’s on the homepage just above the camera.

Click on that. It’ll then say Israel, Torah, brochure, click on that and you’ll have the full brochure and you can start reading. But if you’d like us to mail you one, we’ll be happy to do that and just call and leave us your name and address. We are, of course, excited about what God is doing through Bible and and how that we’re on the air in so many different areas and and you can tell from the callers calling in that people are hearing us in many different places.

It’s all because of you, your prayers, your gifts to Bible and make it possible and we’re coming out a little bit short here in August we need your help if you could give a gift today or this month. Would you pray about that and maybe call and give a gift to Bible and today by credit card or call Neswertonglop with our address on it, mail to you and you can mail your gift in or you can go on the online bookstore.

On the website BibleLineMinistries.org and you’ll be able to give there to Bibleline. We’re going to get back to those phone lines. We have George now in Fort Lauderdale. Been so patiently waiting and welcome George from Fort Lauderdale to Bibleline. Dr. Hank? Yes, sir. Thank you. Pleasure to talk to you. I love you, Cheryl. Listen to the material a lot. I have a question for you. Something that’s been bothering me for a long time. Okay. I’ve been a Christian for 10 years or so.

True. I got my head in my Bible, I really tried to study it and I’m stuck with the sin of being part of abortions before I became a Christian. I’ve had numerous women that I got pregnant that this is just tormenting me and I’m thinking I’m going to see those souls when I go to heaven. Is there something in the Bible that will give me some comfort? I know God has forgiven my sins but it’s still, I wake up every day, I have two beautiful kids now and I think, well, I should have more kids than what I have.

It just eats at me. Well let me tell you, there’s some good news. Back in 2 Samuel, 1223, David had a baby and at 7 days old that baby died. And David said the day that baby would not return to him, but he would go to see that baby. I believe all Children before the age of accountability whether they die By abortion or after birth That you’ll see them again heaven so I think you have some children and having that you’re gonna see you’ll recognize and you’ll be able to enjoy for all eternity They’re there and that’s a really a blessing isn’t it because I know that I talked to gentlemen just this past month and he apparently had two children that his mother lost at birth and he was wondering about them and I told him, you got two sisters in heaven waiting to greet you when you arrive one day and he was all

excited to hear that. So that is a blessing and I just love that passage. Second Samuel, of 23 is the passage. So all children that die either before birth or after conception will go to heaven before the age of accountability. No, no, wait a minute. I know. Well, it does impact you terribly. And you just have to keep going back and read those verses how God has forgiven you and just believe him. Take his word for it because The Bible says that Ephesians 430, that he has forgiven us in Christ.

It’s already a done deal and he’s forgiven every sin, every transcription and we just have to believe that not be ourselves the death over what has already passed. But now obviously make choices where we don’t make the same mistakes again. But rejoice in the fact that he has forgiven us and that he’s not. I love that you might want to write this one down. He says, there are sins and iniquities. Will I remember no more? Well, that’s a good one.

There are sins and iniquities. Will I remember no more? Once you trust Christ, He not only forgives your sin, He forgets them. He’s not going to ever bring that back up. There are sins and iniquities. Will I remember no more? So how come we know I tell you I know that’s that’s the tough part but I just cling to those verses keep recite that all day long I think it’ll help you very much all right God bless you George all right we’re gonna now go to Eddie in my Emmy Florida and Eddie welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air hello Hello, Pastor.

This is Eddie from Miami. I just wanted to know a couple of about six years ago. I had a fallout with the mother of my child. My child was eight years old, Angie. And when we separated, the mother said, well, you’re not gonna see your daughter anymore. And I happen to have been the light of my daughter’s eyes when she was eight. And she wrote a little letter saying, well, since I’m not gonna see my daughter’s eyes. that anymore and i’ll be a little angel to be with him all the time so she went to her closet in hunger so oh how sad uh…

so i want to know where he goes because he committed suicide and it was planned well let me just say that suicide is not the unpardonable sin uh… and and there have been believers that have committed suicide in the Bible and they go to heaven. I love John 637, Jesus said to him that came up to me, I will end. No wise cast out. So Christ does not cast you out for any reason and certainly a suicide would not stop somebody from going to heaven.

I hope that’s a little bit of a comfort. Wow. Now this all happened to be filed. Amen. Thank you, Eddie. Alright, what a tragic story there. And we’re now going to go to Annie in Miami. Annie, welcome to Bibleline your own ear. Annie, you’re on the ear. Oh, yes. Good morning. Good morning. Yes. As it relates to First Corinthians chapter 12 when it speaks of the Bible. on diversity of gifts. I’ve heard as it relates to tongues. I know I’ve heard you say that the tongues people speak.

Now, in this age, is gibberish. But how do, would you explain to me, 1 Corinthians 12 chapter, verse 10, with… with says I’ve also heard that you could pray for it, not that I’m so in tongues, but I can’t. Sure, OK. You’ll notice there. This is written around AD 54, somewhere along there. And this is when tongues and other gifts that have now ceased were still in operation. And you’ll notice it talks about how the Holy Spirit decided who would get what gift or gifts.

And the Holy Spirit was the one who would give the gifts according to his will. It says in verse 12, according, he divides every man several as he will. Well, verse 10 it says to the working of, to another, to the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another diverse kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. All of that is true, but then you get to chapter 13, and it says in verses 8 through 10 that it lists 3 there that are going to stop.

By the time the New Testament record was complete, and that’s the gift of knowledge, the gift of prophecy and the gift of tongues, it says they would cease when that which is perfect does come. Well, that is speaking of the Bible, and we know Psalms 17 verse 5 says, the law of the Lord is perfect. That’s the word of God, and it makes wise the simple and converts the soul. And so as a believer, God has given us his word, and when that New Testament record was complete, these temporary gifts were no longer necessary, so they ceased.

But some of the gifts are still about today, but this was written about God giving the gift of tongues, but that was prior to him completing the New Testament and prior to those gifts being rendered unnecessary anymore. Okay and would you explain to me then I think it’s in Romans 8 where it says we don’t know how to pray as we should. The Holy Spirit themselves make it intercession with groanings. I’ve heard some ones say that when we groan or when we hold the air.

Yeah I think they’re trying to explain the gibberish and use that verse but if you read the last phrase there it says which cannot be uttered. In other words they’re not audible. When the Holy Spirit intercedes on on your behalf and my behalf, as we pray and we don’t really know what to pray for, but the Lord knows the full story and He intercedes on our behalf. He intercedes with groanings which cannot be uttered. So if somebody makes a little peep out of their mouth, you know that’s not the Holy Spirit.

So anything audible is pure evidence that that’s not the Holy Spirit interceding on your behalf. He does it silently. Okay, so when we pray and the Holy Spirit make groaning for us, I mean… You don’t even know about it. He’s doing it and you can just believe it. Oh, I see. Okay. Well, thank you so much, Dr. H. You’re very welcome. And I really believe that those… They know that whatever noise is coming out of their mouth, they don’t understand what it is, and nobody else does, and so they try to explain it away and try to say this is the Holy Spirit groaning.

but it says it replay me that it cannot be uttered. These cannot be heard, they’re not audible. And so anybody who tries to say that they’ve mown and they grow and that’s the Holy Spirit, it’s not. They are twisting that verse and thank you for that call Annie down in Miami. We’re now going to go to an anonymous caller in Jacksonville, Florida and welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Good morning, Dr. Lindstrom. I have a quick question that I’ll hang up to listen regarding the reign of Christ for a thousand years.

Is that going to be the actual literal thousand as we go in or will it be one day because the Bible says a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like one day. So we will. be here actually time-wise a thousand or will it be a twenty-four hour period I’m gonna hang up now. Thank you. All right. It definitely will be a thousand years and when it says in 2nd Peter chapter 3 verse 8 one days with the Lord is a thousand years and a thousand years as a day I believe he’s giving us an hint because it talks about the creative week there and that was six days and then God rested on the seventh.

Well guess what? If each of those represent a thousand years, that pretty much just locks in what has been true about even history. We believe Adam and Eve were here about 4,000 years before Christ, 4,000 BC. So between Adam and Christ, we’re 4,000 years or 4 days. And then since Christ till now has been two more days. So We’re at the end of the six days and the seventh day, a thousand year day, is about to take place. So we believe we’re real close to the Lord’s return and it will be a literal thousand year period where Christ will rule and reign on this earth.

Now if you read Revelation chapter 20, it will say six times in that one chapter that Christ will come back and rule and reign on this earth for a thousand years. And I believe that is literal, that there will be a thousand year earthly rule of Christ on the planet. Thank you for calling from Jacksonville, Florida. And we hope that answered your question. We’re going to go ahead and maybe catch a couple of quick off-air questions. We have Todd in Pensacola, Florida.

He calls in and leaves an off-air question. He says, please explain James 2 17 through 26. So James is talking to Christians, to believers, about getting off their blessed assurance and starting to work for Christ, warning them that if they don’t do any works they won’t have any profit or reward in heaven. It’s talking to people who already saved, salvation is a gift. He’s not talking about earning salvation because that’s impossible. He’s talking about after you become saved, that you’re going to be held accountable for what you’ve done since you’ve been saved and the result will be reward or loss of reward at the Judgement of the City of Christ.

Verse 12 I think is so key in understanding James 2. It says in verse 12, so speak ye and so do ye as they that shall be judged by the perfect law of liberty. That’s the Judgement of the City of Christ. Believers are going to be judged as to what they spoke and what they did and the result will be loss of reward for those that did nothing and for those that served they will obviously receive a reward. James is saying you need to pay attention here.

And by the way, then he brings up demons in verse 19 and most people get this wrong. It says now the belief is that there is one God. Now do us well. The devil’s also believe in tremble. You know, the Bible tells us that the demons are Satan’s fallen angels and they are already judged as far as their destiny. They are going to go to hell just as every unbeliever in the human race will go to hell. But guess what?

They are going to be held accountable for their behavior and they fear and tremble at the thought of that because they are going to be assigned a degree of punishment in hell based of under deeds. James is saying the demons are smarter than humans. We humans forget that we’re going to give a count as believers at the judgment seat of Christ and you’re going to suffer the loss of reward. You’re going to suffer regret, sorrow, embarrassment, a shame-ness and so on and so on if you don’t live for Christ.

And so he is talking in James 2 about serving the Lord and getting rewards. The whole book throughout is talking to people who are already saved. It says, my brother and my brother and my brother and my brother and my brother and all the way through talking about those in verse 18 of John, whether James 1 that are born again, that God begats us by His Word when we trust Christ as Savior. We’ve become his children and now we’re going to be held accountable for what we’ve done since then and that’s what James is talking about.

We have a caller or a question that came in from the Philippines. Luther says, I have visited your website and I came to read your belief of eternal security of salvation, which for me is questionable. If that’s the truth, then how do you explain Galatians 5 19 through 21? This comes up again and again and again and basically in the context of Galatians 5 Paul there the Apostle is telling us that if you Live after the flesh you’ll have the fruit or the works of the flesh present in your life life, which you don’t want to have.

And it tells us there that those that are lost will go to hell because of those things. We won’t, but they will. Verse 24 is the answer. And I hope you’re able to hear this Luther in the Philippines. I know you may not listen every day, but the answer is it says those that are believers have already crucified the flesh and the results of the flesh, the foot of the flesh at the cross when they trusted Christ as their Savior.

So we are seen by God as righteous. As this program began, God made Christ to be sinned for us, Christ who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. Okay, we now have Kathy and Joe in Chattanooga, Tennessee. We’re on four times a day up in China. New get 10 in the morning, 4 in the afternoon, 10 at 9 at 4 a.m. in the morning. And Kathy and Joe, I hope you’re listening, they leave this all fair question in Revelation 12 1, who is she?

What is the meaning? In Revelation 12 it talks about a woman. And this woman has a symbol to be interpreted. And it turns out that this is talking about the nation of Israel. Let me read the verse that it says here in Revelation chapter 12 in verse 1 and I looked see here I’m in the wrong chapter in chapter 12 it says and there appeared a great wonder in heaven a woman clothed with a son and the moon under her feet and upon her head a crown with twelve stars.

You You wouldn’t know what in the world that meant unless you read Genesis. And there you have Joseph, who dreams, dreams, and one of those dreams was about the sun, the moon, and the stars. There were twelve stars, and the sun and the moon wound up bowing to one of the stars, and eleven of the stars wound up bowing to that twelve star. And it’s really talking about Israel. Joseph’s father was Jacob or Israel and the moon speaks of his mother and the 11 other stars represent his brothers when there was famine in Egypt.

They all came down to get food and they had to bow before Joseph who became second in power only to Pharaoh. So I hope that helps. It’s the nation of Israel, the nation that would bring forth the Savior, the man-child that would rule all nations with the rod of iron that you read about in verse 5. So hopefully that helps Joe. I would recommend my CD series on the Book of Revelation, 12 hours, verse by verse, and we go through all these things in great detail.

We have James in Tampa, Florida. It says there was an article in the Wall Street Journal that said Egypt is trying to broker a peace deal with Iran and Israel. And Isaiah, he says that this would happen. Is this the beginning of the fulfillment of this verse? I don’t really believe that is what it’s talking about, but we do know that one day that whole land will be under one leader that will be Christ and there will be believers in all of those countries and there will be a highway that will run from Assyria all the way to the north all the way down to Egypt and through Israel and they will all be people who will worship the Lord.

in the millennium, but we’re headed toward it. The problems there right now. Are still going to be getting worse until Jesus returns at the end of the tribulation period. We have here, Milsey in Henderson, Kentucky. It leaves us off here question. Can a pastor be divorced even if his wife divorced him? Can he then get remarried? Can a woman be a pastor?
