You’re welcome to call us at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. We’re going to turn to the book of Daniel. Daniel, chapter 9, what an exciting chapter this one is. It actually gives the very date. That Christ would come and die on the cross of Calvary hundreds and hundreds of years in advance of its happening. It is a vision that God gave to Daniel in chapter 9 where He’s told that there would be 490 years or 70 weeks of years, 70 times 7, that would really fulfill all of prophecy.

that this included, of course, the two comings of Christ, and it splits after the 69th week of years or 483 years into the prophecy, Christ would die on the cross of Calvary. It’s not a prophecy to the birth of Christ, because as we’ve said before, you can believe in the birth of Christ, it’s still going to hell. It is the death of Christ that is a significant event. And when you believe on Christ’s death that he died for your sins, and by his death and shed blood, paid for your sins on the cross was buried, and rose again from the dead God saves you.

And here in Daniel it gives a start date. The temple in Jerusalem, built by Solomon, was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar. And now God is telling Daniel that that temple be rebuilt along with the city of Jerusalem. And when the commandment is given to allow that to be rebuilt, start counting, God tells Daniel. In Daniel chapter 9 in verse 25, he says, no therefore to understand it from the going forth of the commandment to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Messiah will be.

And it says here, seven weeks, and three and scoring two weeks, that’s 69 weeks of years or 483 years. And you know my friend, it turned out to the very day. Jesus Christ came and died exactly 483 years after that commandment was given. There are numerous books you can read about all the calculations. If you have the old Schofield Reference Bible, it gives you a synopsis of the calculations. There’s one book I like called The Coming Prince written by Sir Robert Anderson, who was a former head of Scotland Yard in England.

And this was written a long time ago, and he used the royal astronomers of England to to determine the start date of that commandment to restore and rebuild Jerusalem and counted until Jesus came and died and it turns out to be to the very day. Isn’t that amazing? I mean that alone would cause me as a skeptic to believe the Bible. If the Bible could predict accurately to the day exactly when Christ would come and die starting with a commandment given by a secular unbelieving king to allow for that rebuilding of Jerusalem and restoration of Jerusalem to happen, that would be incredible.

Then it tells us after these 69 weeks of years, Shalom Messiah, verse 26, be cut off, speaking of him dying. He is being cut off out of the land of the living, as Isaiah says. And then the next phrase says, but not for himself. You see, Christ didn’t die for Himself. He died to pay for the sins of the world. He died for your sins. He died for my sins. He paid for them completely by His death. And so this amazing prophecy tells us that after 483 years, 69 weeks of years, 69 times 7 is 483 years, and then Christ would be cut off, but not for Himself.

And then it tells us, guess what? the city of Jerusalem would be destroyed again the second time and the temple that had been rebuilt would be destroyed again. That happened in 8070. Now I love this because you know it shows that Jesus has already been here. Many Jewish people say he hasn’t come yet the first time and they’re still looking for the first coming of the Messiah. Yet here Daniel tells us that the The Messiah would come, he’d be killed, he’d be cut off, and then the city of Jerusalem would be destroyed.

Now every Jewish person knows that their temple doesn’t exist today, that it was destroyed in 8070 by the Romans when General Titus led his legions against Jerusalem and against Israel. And the city of Jerusalem and the temple was destroyed, and that was predicted back here in Daniel’s prophecy. Now the Messiah had to be here before that. So I love in witnessing the Jewish people. Ask them, who could have possibly been the Messiah that was here before AD 70 because Daniel, your prophet, one of the Jewish prophets, said the Messiah would come and be killed and then the city of Jerusalem and the temple destroyed that happened in AD 70.

Can you give me a guess? Who do you think might possibly have been your Messiah? He’s already been here. According to Daniel’s prophecy, he would be here before. the destruction of Jerusalem. I give a little drum roll and I give them a few seconds like oh those TV quiz shows and you know it’s interesting. There are a lot of choices. There’s really one choice and the answer is Jesus. He came, he was cut off, he died to pay for sins and then the city of Jerusalem and the temple was destroyed a second time.

Nebuchadnezzar had destroyed it. Then God God said count when the commandments given to allow it to be rebuilt again, it was then rebuilt and the Bible said after the 483 year period from the giving of the commandment to restore that city of Jerusalem in the temple that the Messiah would die, he’d be cut off but not for himself and then the city of Jerusalem and the temple would be destroyed again, that happened in 80-70. The Messiah has already been here the first time.

Wow. powerful, powerful, powerful witness to Jewish people who still think that Christ is yet to come. He is coming again. He’s coming a second time, but here Daniel’s prophecy not only tells us 483 years plus in advance because the prophecy was given before that commandment was given. So about 500 years minimum before Christ ever came the first time, a prophecy was given that tells us the exact time when Christ would come and die on the cross of Calvary. That gives me chill bumps on my arm.

That gives me all I need to say, this Bible has to be the word of God. This Bible has to be written by God. Only God can tell the future. And here he accurately foretells it. And then amazingly, the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple is foretold. And we know that the Romans are the ones who did that. And guess what? We have a tip off here as to the Antichrist identity. It says, and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the temple.

And we know that that people was the Romans that came under General Titus. In fact, I’ve been to Rome numerous times and you’ll see they’re the arch of Titus. huge arch with all kinds of reliefs on the arch that depict the victories of general Titus over the Jews in Israel. So it’s a well-established fact and an amazing prophecy this is. But we believe that the Antichrist will come from the people that were a part of the ancient Roman Empire.

Now I personally believe the Antichrist comes out of the United States and we are Roman. That’s That’s right. Right now, we are obviously a country that has pretty much been birthed by Europe or by what was ancient Rome, and we are an 11th country in the mix that the Bible gives. 11 countries total under the control of the Antichrist who will come, I believe, out of the United States of America. My friend, have you trusted Christ as your Savior if you haven’t?

The Bible has overwhelming evidence that this is God’s Word. There’s no book like this. No book like this. No book that can tell the future like the Bible does. And amazingly, quite specific and right on target. Can you imagine? Very specific here is exactly when Christ would come and die, when he would be cut off, not when he’d be born, and it’s accurate to the day, according to Sir Robert Anderson and the calculations by whoever you read. It all comes out nice and neat.

This is an incredible book. I believe it. I’m Dr. Englunds from Mrs. Bybaline. I pray that you have trusted Jesus as your Savior. And if you haven’t, you need to do that. So please, please, please, please, please, please. I hope you’ll trust the Lord as your Savior. All righty, we have a number of all fair questions. try to catch those as quickly as we can. We have a live caller down in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Eden is on the line and we’ll catch him right now because he’s on his cell phone. Eden, welcome to the Bible and you’re on the air. Dr. Hank, I have three questions. The first one is I was reading the Bible. I believe it was a fight between the angel of the Lord and Satan for Moses’ body and what finally happened. And the second one is what will be the last sign appear before Christ come and the third one on the 12th Revelation 22.

I was reading and I didn’t read it. Alright, well the first question is about Jude verse 9 where the Lord Michael the Archangel had a dispute with Satan over the body of Moses and he said the Lord rebuked the… Apparently Satan is calling foul because although Moses died he is going to come back in that same physical body that he had once before and he will preach during the first three and half years after the rapture and so Moses is coming back and we find that Satan doesn’t think that’s fair.

So there was a dispute over his body. Although Moses died, there is no burial place and we don’t know where his body is but the Bible apparently teaches or implies that it’s been preserved for him to come back during the tribulation period. Elijah is coming back too but he never died. He was caught up in the fiery chariot. Elijah is coming back. If you read the last two verses of the Old Testament in Malachi, it tells us, behold, I will send you Elijah before the great and dreadful day of the Lord.

Elijah will come back before the last three and a half years of the tribulation period called the great and dreadful day of the Lord, and he will preach alongside of Moses during the first three and a half years. Isn’t that interesting? You know, and even the Jewish people when they observe the Passover. They leave the door to their home partially cracked, and they place an extra seat and place sitting at the table. Should Elijah come, he would be welcome to join him at the Passover Seder.

And so it’s interesting that the Jewish people still look for Elijah to come to precede Christ. And of course, now we’re talking about the second coming when Christ will come back at the end of it seven years in all of his power and all of his glory to rule and reign over this earth as king and he will rule for a thousand years. This is called the millennium, a thousand year earthly reign where Christ will rule on this earth bringing peace on earth, goodwill toward men.

So I hope that answers the first one and the second question was what Eden did Eden leave me I think he did alright he gave me three and I didn’t write him down so we’ll have to have Eden call back to catch the other two I thought he was going to stay on the line with me we now have Betty in Beverly Hills Florida Betty welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air yes good morning Brother Lindstrom. I have a couple of questions for you.

The following, well I’ll just tell you, last night we were in Bible study and there was revelations was being taught by the pastor. We were in revelations one and verse 13 is my question. One like the son of man clothed with a garment down to the feet, excuse me, verse 14. His hair was white like wool and white as snow in his eyes like a flame of fire. I have always cross-referenced that with Daniel chapter 7 and verse 13.

That says, I was watching in the night visions and behold one like the son of man coming with clouds of heaven and he came to the ancient of days and they brought him near before him. My objection or my confusion is that the description of the Son of Man in Revelation is one like the description of the Father in Daniel chapter 7 because it says the ancient of days was seated and one like the Son of Man came to the ancient of days and I understood that to be the Father.

Well, I think you’re right. And obviously Christ, when he comes back, coming in all of his power, all of his glory, the white hair speaks of his wisdom and he has affected his eternal. So he’s God. And so I think the description fits both. And obviously that would be in line with what we know about the Godhead, that God the Father, the eternal Son, God, the Holy Spirit are all the same God, although they exist as three separate eternal persons.

So I think we just have to live with that. I don’t know of a better answer. They both are described here alike. I guess my question to you is when this is being taught should the distinction be made from, in other words, when we’re explaining Daniel 7 that the Son of Man is approaching, this is the court scene of course in the future, and he’s approaching the ancient of days which there seems to represent God the Father. Should the distinction be made?

Oh absolutely. definitely we have the Godhead and you have to separate and it’s very clear wherever you go that God is a plurality and he obviously exists as three eternal separate persons in Daniel 7 it’s really talking I believe about how the way will be prepared for Christ to come back and take over this earth And so notice he in verse 14 of Daniel 7 there was given unto him a kingdom And that kingdom is the thousand year reign of Christ.

He, I think it’s the title deed to the earth and then comes back at the end of the seven years and takes over the planet. I agree with you. It’s just that the distinction was not being made in Daniel chapter seven, which I didn’t know, I didn’t say anything or be disruptive, but it did make me unsettled. Also I have another question that is really upsetting me. I know how you feel about women teaching. I don’t even know whom I’m going to be teaching.

I’ve been asked to teach evangelism, and they’ve given me material. This is Southern Baptist. And I see that for salvation, they’re saying, you must trust Christ, repent of sins, meaning be sorry of your sins and change your ways, and then make him Lord of your life. And I find this to be a works gospel. absolutely right and you just have to confront them and say that you can’t teach that but you will teach evangelism from the Bible for sure.

Yes I’ve made lessons up over the last 30 years and they’re not of this nature and this is new to me but by God’s grace I thank you that you’ve been explaining the methanoya is that the Greek word I look at the strong. Exactly. So do you think that I’m right in objecting? Oh absolutely you can’t teach a false gospel or God is going to come down on you. So you need to point that out. And if you have internet access, you can download all my articles on repentance and the one on contemporary terms which are not the gospel is very good because you don’t want to use terms which many are using, which are really not the gospel at all.

We are to put our trust in the finished work of Christ and His shed blood is the only means of our salvation. And when you had anything else to that you’ve corrupted the gospel and that is uh… under a curse and the person teaching it is also occur so that i was yes because you’re making uh… while you’re leading people to a false understanding and they’re not really safe uh… pastor uh… keep up the good work but you’re right you’re welcome buddy all right uh…

we now have eaten uh… back and uh… in welcome to uh… by one you are on the air yes doctor and i i i i i i i i i i i don’t like this down side help me out question number two but their question number two was uh… what would be the last time it appeared before the coming of christ alright let me be a quick answer the answer is uh… the return of the Jew back to the state of Israel it’s already happened and so we’re we’re ready for christ return and the third one is uh…

revelation uh… twenty second i was reading and i didn’t understand it the whole chapter just a little bit big detail about it all right i’ll show to that revelation twenty two the final chapter the bible of course uh… we see jesus and uh… we find that he gives uh… the final invitation for salvation uh… he invites you know obviously god’s heart is for everyone to be saved and he uh… gives an invitation there he says uh… and the spirit and the brides they come and let him that is that here say come and let him that is a thirst come and whosoever will let him take of the water of life free all you have to do is come to be saved there’s no works uh…

we simply received the finished work of christ and become saved verse eighteen nineteen are warning that we’re not to change that message by adding to it or taking away from it that it’s christ alone plus or minus nothing And if you take away from it, you won’t be saved because you’re altering God’s plan of salvation. And then, of course, John says that Christ said he would surely come quickly, and John responds and said, come on, even so come, Lord Jesus, and then he gives us the benediction to the book.

So it’s basically a summary there of… What’s going to happen in chapter 22 at the beginning? It gives you a little bit of description of life in the New Jerusalem where we’re going to live. There’s the tree of life. There’s the water of life and only believers are there and will enjoy a wonderful eternity in fellowship with the Lord himself. Thank you, Eden. And we hope that that helped answer those calls. We are now coming up on our break.

and I have people holding on the phone lines. I want to take all of you on the air here right now, but we’re coming real close. We’ll try to get Harold here. Harold, welcome to Boblin. We don’t have much time here before the break, but go ahead and give us your question. Come on, it’s crazy that they use that. The truth that you know the truth and you refuse to obey it and the truth that they are saying is to observe the Sabbath in order to be safe.

I’m going to go out of the way. All right, thank you. You know, some of the admins just are hung up big time on the Saturday Sabbath. They say that the mark of the beast is the worship on Sunday and that the mark of the two living God is the worship on Saturday. I’ll pick up on the Sabbath question right after the break and we’ll talk about that in the second half of Bibleline. So Harold, just keep listening and we’ll cover that for you as soon as I get back from this break.

Stay tuned right where you are. Don’t change that now. We’ve got to go to break no doubt about it, but we will be right back. Go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment To pledge your support for Bibleline, give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. I’m Dr. Englund Strimman. I know that God is answering your prayers and that’s really wonderful to know that people are praying for you. We also would like to suggest if you could, if you would like to help us here at Bibleline, your gift to Bibleline would be a real blessing.

We are listeners supported and we know that we couldn’t survive without you. In fact, we don’t have any pledges or subscribers, a piggy bank, a reserve account, or anybody underwriting this program. It’s underwritten by God and supported by you, the listener, and without your gifts we couldn’t survive. Would you consider maybe even just giving a dollar a day to Bible on? Would you consider maybe giving a dollar for just every program listen to a Bible and that would really help us.

If every listener did that, I think we would be well cared for and we would really want to thank you in advance for considering that even and if you will give a gift to Bible and want to thank you in advance for giving. You’re the ones who keep the program going and for those of you that are praying, give thanks to God for those who give the Bible and because they’re the ones who make this program possible because we couldn’t be on the air without your help.

God bless you. Thank you so much. We still can squeak you in on this Israel trip if you want to go March 12th. So stay tuned right where you are. And if you can’t get it on your station, go to the internet.

Would you like to help Bibleline continue in your area? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. All right, we’re back from that break and this is my blog and we’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida From our studios here at the Calvary Community Church where I pastor and we’re located just on the west side of Tampa’s International Airport. Those planes coming in and coming out are right here to the east of our church.

We are on the west side of the airport. We’re about a block west of the main north-south runway. So that gives you a picture in your mind as to where we are. And if you ever come to Tampa, we certainly want you to come by and visit with us. And of course on the internet, if you go to my website, BibleLineMinistries.org or .com, and click on the TV set on the home page, you’ll be able to listen to radio programs or watch our TV programs.

Once you click on that TV set on my home page on my website, BibleLineMinistries.org or .com. A page will come up and on the right side it will say click here for Bibleline Radio. On the left side it will say click here for Bibleline Television and you’re in. It’s that simple. I want to thank all of you who give the Bibleline. You’re the ones who make this program possible. We could not do it without you. We don’t have subscribers.

We don’t have pledges. We don’t have a piggy bank. We don’t have a reserve account. are supported by God and he obviously uses folks just like you who enjoy this program to keep it on the air and it’s your prayers and your gifts that allow Bibleline to stay on the air. So for those of you who pray, thank God, would you for those who give? Because they’re the ones who are making it possible for you to receive this program daily from our studios here in Tampa at the Calvary Community Church.

God bless all of you. I want to thank you in advance. If you could possibly give regularly the Bible, that would be such a great help. And if you just would maybe give a dollar a day, boy, that would be wonderful. If every listener would do that, we’d be in great shape. And if you just gave a dollar for every program you listen to, that would be great. So no gift is too small. But if you could give a larger gift, that would be also appreciated.

We don’t pay any salaries. We are probably the most efficient ministry out there as we have a very little overhead here in the office. But we do spend a lot actually getting us out on the air, which is the expensive part. Why not consider Bible life as one of your areas of investment into eternity? And I know that one day I think the rewards will be great because I believe God is using and blessing Bible life. We hear wonderful reports all the time of people getting saved, people dedicating their lives, people being restored in their relationships, people deciding to go into Christian work, And it goes on and on, and we are so grateful for what God is doing through the power of His Word as we give it out here on Bibleline.

We have a question remaining over from the previous half hour if you’re just tuning in. The question was from Harold and Tampa, and he asked about the Sabbath. Those who are seven-day Adventists make this a big point, and they obviously are attempting to be saved by works. If you have to observe the Sabbath to be saved, then that’s works. If you have to keep any of the commandments to be saved, that’s works. And of course, they are works-oriented. And if that be the case, then I believe we all ought to pray for the seven Ediments because they will not make heaven.

If you’re trusting in any works to be saved, then you will not go to heaven. And those that got saved in the churches of Galatia, Paul writes to them and he asked them why do they want to go back to being under the law that they had been set free from? He said, why do you want to go back and observe days and times and seasons which were all under the law and Christ of course paid for those things at the cross and he nailed them to his cross and took them out of the way.

In the book of Colossians, and this is the great verse, because Christ totally paid for our sins and he took the law that was contrary to us and nailed it to his cross and took it out of the way. The Bible tells us, let no man in Colossians 2 16, and this is a great verse, therefore let no man judge you in meat. That means the dietary laws of the Old Testament as to what you eat, which is seven to Adventist, pretty much our vegetarians, and they try to follow the dietary laws, but also in drink or in respect of a holy day.

And it says here or of the new moon or of the Sabbath. And so it tells you here, don’t let anybody judge you concerning the Sabbath because those were all a picture of future things that they represented prophetically and has nothing to do with our salvation. And so don’t let anybody fool you. they say that you have to believe the truth. You know, there is truth concerning salvation, and Christ himself is the truth. He says in John 14, 6, I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life.

And so when you believe the truth, you’re believing on Christ. And when you believe on Christ, he is the way to heaven, and nobody can come to the Father but by him. So if you’re trying to get to heaven through the Sabbath, you won’t make it. If you’re trying to get to heaven through the commandments, you won’t make it. Christ says, I am the way. I am the truth. And he says, by me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved.

So when you trust Christ, who is the truth? You’ll be saved. So you need to believe on the truth or believe on Christ. And John 14, 6 would be a great verse. Harold, it’s tough, you just have to keep chipping away. The seven dead venus are obviously condemning themselves when the Bible says, cursing is everyone that is attempting to be saved by the law, Galatians 3-10. You cannot be saved. The Bible says, no flesh will be justified in God’s sight by the law, but we are justified by faith in Jesus Christ.

We have Jack up in Richmond, Virginia and Jack welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Okay, Dr. Ash, Mr. and Mrs. Jack for Richmond. I, my question, I’ll hang up and ask you, I know the rapture is coming soon and any time now I would like to know what else needs to be completed before Jesus comes back. If what will happen before Jesus comes back? Yeah, well, I mean, I mean, he’s not back yet, so I figured he’s not ready yet, but I’m sure there’s got to be something else that needs to be done before he comes back.

Well, I don’t know what it is because, you know, Jesus Christ is going to come and snatch out the believers and we see everything in place. There are signs for the Rapture, which I always always taught that there weren’t, but certainly It tells us about the conditions in the world in 2 Timothy chapter 3 that this would be the way the world would be seen as we see Christ coming back. It says in 2 Timothy 3 1 that there would be perilous times.

We’re living today in perilous times. We can see it on the horizon. And then also we see the apostasy, the departure from the Word of God today. in Timothy chapter 4, verse 3 and 4, says they would not endure sound doctrine, and we see all of that. And so at any moment Christ could come, maybe this will be the year, but there’s nothing left to be done. It’s just a matter of God’s timetable, and we know the fact that we’re close, but we don’t know a date, and we’re obviously not to set a date.

So I’m sure to thank you for calling and I hope that answers your question. Thank you. All right, Jack, Jack, in Richmond, Virginia, we now have Keith in Richmond, Virginia. And Keith, welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Air. Yes, Dr. Lindstrom. Yes. I have a question for you. I want to know what’s your opinion of Joel Olstein at the Ministry? Well, you know, Joel Olstein, if you saw the Larry King live interview, he said, I don’t know how many times on that show.

I don’t know. I don’t know. Some of the questions that Larry King asked were very, very powerful. and he said, you know, if a person dies without Christ would be good at hell and Joel Olstein says, I don’t know. Well, that is so basic and so fundamental. The Bible says definitely if a person dies without Christ, they will go to hell. Peter says in Acts 4, 12, neither is their salvation in any other, for there’s none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

Joel Ols did apparently is pretty much just a motivational speaker and apparently he doesn’t rely on the Bible and use the Bible much and he claims he obviously doesn’t even try to do that. He doesn’t know what the Bible has to say by his own admission. I liked Dave, newsletter I received from Dave Hunt who after that program was over listed in the Bible all these times that Joel Osteen said, I don’t know on the other King live. And then he listed a whole list of verses in the Bible where it says you can know, you can know, you can know.

Whereas Joel says you can’t know. And so the Bible says you can know. You can know your Savior, you can know your heavy eternal life, you can know the people without Christ are going to hell very, very clear. Joyce Meyer is obviously doing things and preaching things that are not biblical anymore. The whole healing and tongues thing is dead and her gospel is flawed and so I would be very careful about watching that. And Hank Hinnigraft there’s a lot of good stuff I like but he is one who believes that Christ has already returned in AD 70 and he argues that all the time it seems like it’s a passion here lately I’ve got his book The Last Disciple which is an argument for an early authorship of the book Revelation so they can say that the second coming was actually fulfilled in AD 70.

The Christ came back and all this power and glory but nobody saw him. So obviously that just messes up the whole prophetic program if you believe Christ has already been that really leaves you in kind of a quagmire but basically if you took the Bible literally you can’t come up with those conclusions so thank you very much Keith and that was Keith up in Richmond, Virginia we’re now going to Bob in Bradenton, Florida. Bob, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air.

Hello. Hi, Bob. Yes, I need to see to find out the two angels that are coming back. It was a lot of… What is Elijah and Moses? Well there are two witnesses, it doesn’t say angels, they are not angels coming back. Two human beings are coming back. Two Old Testament prophets and I believe they are Moses and Elijah. Talk about Moses. Well, Revelation chapter 11 talks about these two witnesses who will witness once the temple has been rebuilt in Jerusalem which will happen right after the Rapture and it says the witness for three and a half years, forty-two months and they will be Old Testament prophets and it says that one will be able to have the power to pray and shut up the heavens so it will not rain, Elijah is the one who did that in the Old Testament and the other one will have power to turn the water to blood and to smite the earth with plagues,

That was Moses. I think it’s pretty clear that the two prophets are identified there as being Moses and Elijah. Yep. Okay, thanks sir. You’re sure welcome. That was Bob down in Bradenton, Florida. And now we have Tony in Richmond, Virginia. And Tony, welcome and revival on your on the air. Good morning, Dr. Hank. How are you today? Good. I wanted to share a testimony with you. I’ve been listening to your program for about a year now. And I’m so grateful for a Bibleline that I did not understand what salvation was.

. . . . . . . . . In the first couple of programs I heard you talking on, I was so taken a gas by it. Wow, we’re not saved by our works that couldn’t be, you know. That’s so what I wasn’t taught. And when you, through the Word of God, opened my eyes, wow, what a powerful thing. And I just want to thank you for that. Wow, well thank you for sharing it, and God bless you. And I like the way that you do it.

I mean, I hear so many callers that, and you’re just consistently doing what the Bible says, you’re giving them the word. You’re literally giving them the word in the scriptures and what the Spirit of God has said about these things and you just keep your consistent with it and it’s so great. I just have two questions. One is when Jesus in the Book of Matthew, or I think after he said, hey, this is when I’ll come back, this is what is going to happen.

He said, this is when it’s not going to happen first. He said, when you see these things, that’s not happen. But when this gospel of the kingdom has been preached to all nations of the witness, then social is coming of the Son of Man and be. And also remember, he’s vaguely something about when Jesus said, after tribulation of those days, he said, after tribulation of those days, then the coming of the Son of Man will be. Our question is, is the rapture and Jesus the second coming to separate events?

And then since everybody’s asking about people, what do you think of them and you’re so true to the word, I would like to know the only other person that I’ve ever listened to that’s wrong in the truth of me is name is Dr. Fred Casey Price. If you know anything about them great, if you don’t, that’s great too. Rapture second comment is a two of a thing But right. Thanks, sir. All right. The Rapture is of course different than the second coming at the Rapture Christ comes by himself And shouts and up we go and we meet him in the air the second coming Christ comes in all of his power and all of his glory and the Bible says every eye on the earth will see him as he lights up The heavens but the Rapture nobody sees him except those that are caught up

up at the Rapture, we’re given our resurrection bodies at the Second Coming. Jesus Christ comes back and takes over the earth away from Satan and becomes king over the earth and establishes a thousand year rule. I have on my website one of my sheets that I’ve written there are articles list about 20 contrasts between the Rapture and the Second Coming there and not the same event. The second coming occurs after the tribulation period, as you said correctly, but the rapture happens before the tribulation period and initiates the seven years that will follow and then seven years later Christ comes back and all of his power and all of his glory to rule and reign forever and ever.

You were asking about Frederick Price, he’s very entertaining, But we have a book by Hank Hennigraft, which we just mentioned a moment ago, called Christianity and Cryses, which identifies the doctrines of Frederick Price, and you’ll be surprised how really doctrinally unsound he is. So you might want to get the book by Hank Hennigraft. He lists a lot of the so-called faith ministers who seem to be good at inventing doctrines rather than cleaning them from the Word of God. And I would recommend that book.

We have it, I think it’s for about, I don’t know, $15 or so. But that’s Hank Ennegraaff. It’s called Christianity and Cryses. And you can call a note of that. I think it’ll be real helpful. And so that’s hopefully the questions that you’ve asked. And thank you for calling in. We now have Terry from North Carolina. but he’s happens to be in the Tampa Bay area today. So, Terry, welcome to Bimon, you’re on the air. Thank you, doctor. Listen, my question was about a follow-up, and I believe it was Harold that had asked, and I just happened to hear it.

First time caller listened to you every time I’m in the Tampa area. And it had to do with works. If the fourth commandment, then all of the rest would be works. Would that be correct? That’s right. then you’re saying that we shouldn’t follow any of the commandments? No, it doesn’t say that. It’s not saved by them. If you’re attempting to be saved by keeping commandments, then you’re not going to make heaven. You have to be saved by trusting Christ.

But no, we’re not to violate, you know, as far as murdering somebody or, you know, committing adultery with someone. All those things are forbidden. but yeah. We’re not saved by the commandments. In fact, you know, Christ says now the commandments have been taken out of the way and we’re not under the law, but we’re under grace. And basically now we are under what is called the law of love or the law of liberty where we do it from the heart.

In other words, if you love the Lord and you love your neighbor as yourself, which Christ said would be the highest commandment, then you’re not going to steal from your neighbor. you love him as yourself and you’re not going to murder your neighbor if you love him and you’re not going to lie to him and so on and so on and so on. So, basically the law is kept from a different perspective. We keep it because we love the Lord and because we are to love our neighbor but we don’t do it because we’re obligated to thou shalt not, thou shalt not, thou shalt not.

It’s a different perspective but we’re not to violate them and we’re not to be law breakers but we’re not under the law at all. So the law is not what governs our life. We’re now governed by the law of love. Let me ask you this, Ben, on a follow-up. Christ said that he did not come to change the law, but to fulfill it. Right. Now that’s talking about the Scriptures. The Scriptures are called the law of the Lord. And so he’s talking about…

And it had to end what as well? Well, he kept the law in that way that he never broke, he never sinned, but he’s really referring there in Matthew 5 17 that you’re referring to, to the Word of God that he came in fulfillment of that. And in the book of Matthew in particular, it talks about scriptures that it quotes and how he fulfilled them. So he came to fulfill the law and it said, for example, that a virgin would conceive in Baresan and it says that the scripture might be fulfilled with said and it quotes the Old Testament Scriptures which are called the law of the Lord.

And then it says that he went down into Egypt and it quotes the Scripture where it says out of Egypt I called my son and it was a prophecy about Christ. Then it talked about the killing of all the babies by Herod and how it quotes from Jeremiah saying there would be this terrible cry of lamentation that would occur because of the killing of the innocent children there in all the areas around Bethlehem and so on. And it goes on and on and talks about how they came back in the sittled of Nazareth and how that was a prophecy fulfilled.

So Christ fulfilled the Old Testament, but of course He also kept, He’s the only one who ever kept the law. No one else has. Christ said, you know, in John 17 verse 19, He said, did not Moses give you the law yet and then of you have kept it. no one has been able to live up to the standard of the law, but when we trust Christ, his very righteousness is imputed to our account. And so God sees the believer as righteous.

Then I guess I will keep the law because of love, therefore keep the seventh day based on love. Well, if you want to, sure, but keeping the seventh day doesn’t get you to heaven. But The Bible says it doesn’t matter if you want to worship on another day, but to insist as the seven Adventists do that if you worship on Sunday that you have the mark of the beast, it’s the mark of the Antichrist, that’s totally wrong. And Closet 260 says let no man judge you in respect of the Sabbath.

Well very good we have Ron now in Seminole Florida and Ron welcome to Bibleline your own year. Yes, hello. I’d like to get a question and answer it please to Matthew 11, 11. I can’t understand it up very, very few times and every time I come across it I can’t understand it. It’s all right. John the Baptist. John the Baptist, yes. Yes. Basically what it’s saying is if they had received the kingdom, if they had received Christ at that point, then he would have been the fulfillment of the prophecy about the coming of Elijah and he would have been Elijah, but they rejected him and Elijah still yet future to come.

And so it says basically in verse 14, if you receive it, that is the kingdom, then this is Elias, which was for to come. He had spiritual ears to hear, let him hear. But they rejected him, and of course Elijah still got it as for knowledge to do that. And John the Baptist was the equivalent of Elijah, and he prepared the way but was rejected, and he was killed. And then Christ was rejected and he was killed. And so the future promise of the Elijah coming and preparing the way in Christ being received and becoming king is still ahead of us.

Okay. So you didn’t need to read verse 14 very carefully. If you will receive it, then he is Elijah, but they didn’t receive it. And so he’s not Elijah. And you asked John the Baptist and John chapter one, are you Elijah? And he said, no, he says I’m not. So he says it plainly in several places when they asked the question, are you Elijah? He said, no, I’m not Elijah. I’m John the Baptist. I’m the one that Isaiah spoke about in Isaiah chapter 40, the one crying in the wilderness and came to prepare the way of the Bible.

the Lord, but he would have been the fulfillment of the prophecy about Elijah had they received the kingdom. But that’s just a hypothetical point because obviously God is in his foreknowledge and he wouldn’t. And this was a bona fide offer by God of that kingdom. But he knew in his foreknowledge that they would reject him. And so John the Baptist really played the role, but would have been if they had accepted the kingdom, he would have been Elijah, the fulfillment of it.

You have to think about it Ron and it’s a good question and thank you for calling in today. If you’re listening and have not yet trusted Jesus as your Savior, would you whisper that prayer right now between you and the living God? Just tell him Lord I am a sinner. I don’t understand much about the Bible, but I do trust that Jesus Christ and by his death and shed blood paid my sin debt and full was buried and rose again from the dead.

The moment you do God saves you. We have to run and again keep looking up. Jesus is coming and I believe soon.
