And so we in this age from Pentecost to the earth, get our resurrection body seven years ahead of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and so on.

So the Old Testament saints have to wait seven years after us to get their resurrection bodies. The last shall be first, the first shall be last. We are last and yet will be first in the resurrection. Although, although we came after the Old Testament and we’re the last here, we become first in the resurrection because we’re a special group, and at the rapture we get our resurrection bodies and our rewards. But the Old Testament saints will be rewarded at this time.

And notice it says, and them that fear thy name, small and great. And this is also verse 18, the end of it, the time when you’ll destroy those which destroy the earth. So Christ will come back and destroy the law. At the second coming, all unbelievers all over the earth will be destroyed. None of them will live to live into the millennium, only believers that get saved in the tribulation period who lived to enter into the thousand year end of Christ.

And the temple of God was open in heaven and it was seen in his temple the ark of his testament, the ark of the covenant, and there were lightnings and voices and thunder and an earthquake and great hail. This is the climax of the tribulation and the judgment of this earth as Christ comes back to rule and reign over the planet. We’ll move a little bit into chapter 12, chapter 12 verse 1. There appeared a great wonder that means a sign or a symbol that needs to be interpreted in heaven.

A woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet and upon her had a crown of twelve stars. You would never clue to know what this was except you read the book of Genesis. In Genesis chapter 37 you read about a man named Joseph. He was a dreamer of dreams. Joseph dreamed a dream about the sun and the moon about twelve stars. In his dream the sun and the moon and eleven stars all bowed down to the 12th star.

It turned out to be that Joseph was that 12th star and when there was famine in the world, Joseph’s father and mother and his 11 brothers had to come down to Egypt to get food. And what did they have to do? They had to bow down to little Joseph, that baby brother that was now second in command of Pharaoh. And they had to bow down to him to get food. And so the woman is identified therefore as Israel. Jacob, his father, his name was changed to Israel and his 11 brothers and himself made up the 12 tribes of Israel.

Here is the identification of the woman and what happens. She being with child cried, travailing in birth, pain to be delivered. The Bible tells us that Israel was to bring forth a man child and that child would be the Messiah, the Savior, the one that would purchase our children. salvation and we find here we’ll learnNotice the minute of verse 3 bolsted the another wonder to be interpreted. Behold a great red dragon who is the dragon we don’t have time to mess around we’ll go down to verse 9 and take a look.

The great dragon was cast out that old serpent called the devil and Satan so we find the dragon is Satan. It tells us here in verse 4 that his tale do the third part of the stars of heaven that means a third of the angels which are God’s angels were taken by Satan in his rebellion when he tried to overthrow God and he cast them down onto the earth. Now look at the middle of verse 4, that dragons Satan stood before the woman Israel, which was ready to be delivered for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

Satan knew that that baby that would be born, the Savior, the Messiah would ultimately defeat him. he was couched and ready to kill Jesus when he was born. What happened? Well, he had a tool in a man named Herod. The wise man came to Jerusalem and said, where is he that is born king of the Jews? Herod paranoid and worried about somebody taking his throne was really quite disturbed by this. And he got the wise man into the lights and interrogated them.

And He said, when did you see the star? By the way, they didn’t follow the star. They saw it in the east, and they saw it again after the left Herod, but they didn’t follow the under star. The hymns are all wrong about the Christmas story. We, three kings, have already in our bearing. Yes, we preface the far and it talks about how they followed the under star, and that isn’t what happened. They saw the star in the east, and apparently under the bright lights, Herod got them to confess.

We saw it two years ago. He got a role Bible study organized. They looked up the scriptures, he said, where would Christ be born according to the Bible? He found in Micah 5 verse 2 that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem. After the wise man went home a different way, Herod was angry and he sends his soldiers out and they kill every baby two years old and under according to the time they had inquired of the wise man. In Bethlehem and all the surrounding areas, all those babies were killed.

In Bethlehem to this day, there’s a place that they call the burial place of the innocence where they have all these baby graves of those that were killed by Herod. And that was Satan using Herod as a tool to kill Jesus, but he was couched and ready to devour this child as soon as it was born and came into the world. Verse 5, she brought forth a man child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron that speaks of Christ in his second coming will he rule over the earth.

And notice her child was what caught up in the God and It was thrown. So Christ is God after He has rejected. He ascends back to heaven to His throne and to God. And now between verses 5 and 6, there’s a gap of 2,000 years. How you want to describe that? I don’t know. But Christ goes back to heaven. God has turned to the Gentiles for the past 2,000 years. Verse 6 takes us to the middle of the tribulation period.

So there’s a 2,000 year gap minimum between verses 5 and 6. Verse 6, the woman fled into the wilderness where she has a place prepared of God. In the middle of the tribulation, the believing Jews in Israel will flee over to the country of Jordan to a rock city called Petra, which I’ve been to numerous times. 40 square miles of city all carved out of the rock ready to go. The Jews will flee there from the Antichrist in the middle of the tribulation, and God will miraculously feed them again with water and manna as he once did before in the wilderness.

is she will flee into a place in the wilderness where she has a place prepared of God. It’s all set to go. The city is all carved out of the rock, is ready for the fleeing remnant of the Jews to get saved in the tribulation and that they should feed her there a thousand 203 score days. That’s three and a half years. So for the last three and a half years when the Antichrist turns his wrath against the nation of Israel and tries to kill every Jew in the world that he can lay his hands on, the believing Jews in Israel will flee to Petra in the country of Jordan, which will remain politically neutral till the end of the tribulation, and there they will escape.

Now jump to verse 14. It says, the woman was given two wings of a great eagle and she might fly into the wilderness into her place. Notice a particular place ready to go for Israel to flee to. We know it’s probably Petra. And it says where she is nursed. And it says what? time and times and half of time. That phrase comes from Daniel and nobody had a clue what that meant. Until the book of Revelation came along. And because we can take verse 14 and make it equivalent to verse 6, both of them talk about the time that she’ll spend in this place prepared where God will nourish her and water her.

And it’s made equivalent to 1260 days or 3.5 years or 42 months. And so therefore we know the meaning now of time times and half of time. Time is one year. Time is two years. One plus two is three and a half of time is a half a year. So we have one plus two plus and a half, it’s three and a half years. So when Daniel talks about that Israel would be protected from the anachrist and from the Satan for a time, times and half of time, the book of Revelation gives us the exact length of time and we know it’s now three and a half years.

You couldn’t have known that if you only had the book of Daniel. The book of Revelation was required to give us that information. Thank you for joining us. Good morning, thank you. I virtually destroyed my Bible, I guess, but marking it up. I have a question on Numbers, chapter 12, verse 1, where it says, and Mary and Mary and Aaron’s back against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman he had married.

If I read this correctly, it was married to a black woman and it refers back to the song of Solomon. He kept the one verse five where whoever that is, the bride says, I am black. So I’m assuming here that that word I think in the Hebrew means dark and her sunburned, But it could be absolutely black. And the interesting thing is about the woman that he married was, she was not a very spiritual woman. And I think that might have been part of the problem as well as they recognized that about her.

You know, when Moses wanted to circumcise his children by her, she refused to let him do that. Oh, yes, yes. And as a result, God almost killed Moses because he didn’t circumcise his sons and God stopped him in the way and had a sword out with the angel there to kill him. And then Zapora knew what was going on there, so she took a sharp stone and circumcised the suns right there on the spot and spared Moses’ life. But it’s an interesting story about she was not a spiritual woman.

After that incident we don’t really read anything more about her. She kind of disappears off the scene, although she may have been around. There’s another verse that says Moses’ son, Koish, which translates according to my Bible to black and Hebrew were the ancestor of the Negro tribe in Ethiopia and it says his grandson, Moses grandson, Cush’s son, actually was the grandson with the son of Ham, Moses son and Cush’s son. Well you know there are black Jews today, a lot of the Ethiopian Jews, they had what they called Operation Moses a number of years back where a lot of Jews in Ethiopia were in danger of their lives and they went in and flew out I think 20, 40,000 black Jews back to the state of Israel.

So they really have quite a wide variety of skin colors and skin textures. I know that in Israel I was sitting at the Sea of Galilee with my wife and our guests and They were on the trip with me and my guide was there and I said, look at the different faces. It was kind of like one of these Israeli folk dances and they were a big long string of people where they were clapping their hands and, you know, back and forth.

And it was a fun event. But I said, look at how many different faces I see out there. And my guide said, well, there’s probably 80 countries represented out there. And it just got goosebumps because the Bible said they would come back from all over the world and we really see the multicultural aspect of the Jewish people as they’ve been dispersed and have intermarried and are now coming back into their land. Do you think that Israelites have come back?

I do. I think this is the return that the Bible speaks about. Well, Jeremiah in chapter 30 is very clear. He says in verse 3, I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers and they shall possess it. And he tells us that that would be after a two thousand year dispersion. So we’re clearly living in that time when obviously in 1948 Israel declared its independence and this is quite a miracle because no people have ever survived without their homeland except for the Jewish people.

And now they’re back in that very land that they lived in thousands of years ago are there an anticipation of the return of Jesus. We’re getting close. Weren’t they promised everything from the Nile to the Euphrates? Well they’re going to get it. You know when Jesus comes at the second coming he’s going to destroy every unbeliever on the earth and guess what all those people between the Nile and the Euphrates are Islam and they are really I don’t think going to trust the Lord.

They’re so stubborn in their unbelief. They claim that were the infidels. So God is going to destroy them all. So that land will become vacated. And according to the prophet Mike at chapter 4, all that land and all their spoils, all that oil will become Israel’s and Israel will become the richest nation and the head nation on the earth during the millennium. So they’re going to get it all. It’s going to be okay. Thanks enough a lot and thank you for calling in.

All right. We have Harold in Hollywood, Florida. And we don’t usually get a call from Harold on Monday, but good to hear from you. That magnetic voice I have to listen to. Well, thank you. It’s good to hear your voice. Well, I tell you, when I’m home now, I’m going to be going to my office in a half a day, but when I’m not, I do take your shows. And I heard several remarks. A couple. I don’t want to waste your time when I have the, I know the believers are going to be on, and I’m still an atheist.

And by the way, I’m a white Jewish atheist. All right. But I heard I wanted to get, tell me, straight me out on this, that you said in your quote, you asked many questions. I have that on tape. As a young believer, you mean about, yeah, I certainly had my questions. In fact, as a young believer, I wanted to know, am I wasting my time? Is this for real? And I remember one of the first books I bought, Harold, was a book called Arsenal for Skeptics.

I wanted to see the worst things it could be said against the Bible. I found out that it was really a pretty shallow. It was mostly an attack upon things that had been done in the name of Christianity that were unchristian-like. And I had to agree with the book on that, but I certainly didn’t see anything that they brought up concerning the Scriptures. It caused me any concern at all. They had a chapter on so-called contradictions, but they were easily resolved.

I thought the book was shallow in that area, but I had to agree that there were a lot of things done down through the past 2000 years in the name of Christianity that I’m embarrassed about and that I’m associated. Just like what you talk about when you talk about these people that are fleecing the listeners in these different ministries, I’m embarrassed to be sometimes thrown into the same category as those people because we’re so many. The Phoebe broadcast network.

There you go. and it’s fact but the idea was questioned and uh… this morning i heard you talk about the bible so i i wanted to ask you this question okay who edited the bible and how is it compiled excellent question well the the answer is is that god is the author and the editor of the bible and each book as it was written was written by an authentic spokesperson for god like for example moses As you read through the first five books of the Bible, it’s clear that Moses is quoting God throughout, and this is what God told him to put down.

And each of those books were accepted immediately as being the inspired Word of God. And he even got him built a piece of furniture to hold or contain the Scriptures, called the Ark of the Covenant. And then each successive prophet, their writings were accepted as Scripture as they wrote them and were added to what we call the canon of Scripture, which is from the Latin word meaning a rule or a standard for what should be in the Bible and what should not.

And so each book was collected as it was written and the same is true with the New Testament. The apostles were the writers and they were authentic spokespersons for God. People believed that what they were saying was from God. And so each of those books were collected together, but no committee ever really sat together to decide which books would stay and which books would go. It was basically commonly accepted by those to whom these prophets and apostles wrote to as they were God’s Word and they were collected and recognized to be so.

And then all the councils that came along from the council… Of Nisea which Constantine brought together affirmed that what books were in the Bible, the thirty-nine of the old that the Jewish people had accepted and the twenty-seven of the new were indeed the word of God and there was a few books that were disputed but nobody ever tossed anything out or added anything more to it. That is basically how it happened. Well Dr. Hank, I knew that you’re going to give me the answer.

Now the other question that i have you mentioned that alone is that i’m pronouncing a guy right uh… thessalonians that’s okay that’s all the incident it’s a written to the people that’s a lot like it which is still a major city in greece today in northern greece they have about three hundred thousand people today in the time of paul though two thousand years ago there was about uh… to two hundred thousand so it’s quite a significant city for that time okay question and i’m not good at this but i know you’re the best uh…

that’s the lonius to fourteen and fifteen okay if i read that right are we’re in first or second that’s a lot of this there’s a two-book well two fourteen and fifty two chapter two fourteen and fifteen and i’m almost there we’ll find it here is this the one about we’re into your cold or is that’s the work the second book well the three words i put in the uh… down with you Jews killed right. Oh yeah okay I see where you’re at in first thessalonians 2 it says here you brethren and became followers of the churches of God which in Judea are in Christ Jesus for you also have suffered the things of your own countrymen even as they have of the Jews so basically Christians were persecuted wherever they were persecuted in Greece as the Christians were in Jerusalem but but then it’s a scary about the juice you kill the

Lord Jesus Christ and their own profits and the persecuted us but then did you just kill Christ well everybody did i mean but in this particular instance yes they did okay now i i i want to confirm what i’m hearing alright dr hank i don’t want to take up all your time i have all kinds of things i want to ask you but i i just want a little funny part you know it took one person last week was talking about a bumper sticker about this serving price because he’s a liberal or something like that i didn’t understand that but go ahead okay is that his one bumper sticker true jesus saves moses invest uh…

all right okay thanks a lot herald thank you sir and by the way i am heading out to uh… send you a uh… money order dynamite and i hope everybody copies my thought and what i’m doing Well, dynamite, that’ll help us especially during the summer here. Take care. All right now, and show them. That was Harold down in South Florida, and obviously, we’re all responsible for the death of Christ because he died for all of us. And the Jews, of course, sometimes have taken the total rap, but that is not really what the Bible teaches.

We have Joyce from Charlottesville, New York. She’s just full of questions. She said, in Hebrews 9, 4, inside the Ark of the Covenant, It mentions that there was the rot of Aaron and the pot of manna. Back in Kings she reads there that there was the tablets of the law. She wondered why the rot of Aaron and the pot of manna was not mentioned. And apparently it wasn’t necessary in the dialogue there to mention that particular part. You know, the Bible sometimes is supplementary or complementary in the different portions, but sometimes only the things that are significant are mentioned.

And I’m sure that’s true in our conversations as well. If I were to drive up in my car and you were on the street corner and I said, hi, Joyce. And I told the story later, I would say I saw Joyce and I said hi. But I may not mentioned that my car also had five other passengers. But maybe in another situation, I might share that all five of my passengers and myself, waved at Joyce and said hi to her on the street corner.

So in one instance it may or may not be important to mention the other five. And that’s basically what’s going on here, Joyce. We hope that you’re learning with us. As you listen to this question and answer segment featuring Dr. Hank Lindstrom. If you’d like to hear today’s program again, then please visit our website at Bibleline Ministries.org. O.R.G. To pledge your support for Bibleline, give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. I want to say a word about water baptism. A lot of people are confused and many churches teach water baptism as being essential for salvation.

That is certainly not true. And of course, God’s illustration is given to us with the two thieves that were crucified with Christ on the cross. We find that the thief that believed or trusted on Christ was saved, he never had a chance to be water baptized. And so if you were never water baptized, you would still be saved, but Christ has left two ordinances, water baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and as an act of obedience as a believer, we ought to observe them, but water baptism will not save.

But there are those who try to support water baptism from Scripture and teach that it’s essential if you’re going to go to heaven, and that is, of course, not true. One of those verses is Acts 2.38. In Acts 2.38 it says, Repent and be baptized. And this verse needs clarification because obviously many people misinterpret this to be water and it is not. First of all, Peter had preached on Pentecost that Jesus Christ, who had been crucified by the leadership of Israel, was indeed the true Messiah and they had made a serious mistake in crucifying Christ who is the Lord of glory.

And God, of course, demonstrated that He is the Lord of glory by having Him come back again from the dead. They were convicted by Peter’s message, and they said, what should we do? And Peter said, repent. That means change your mind. The Greek word for repent is meta noia. Meta means change. Noia means mind. The two words together, meta noia mean a change of mind. And Peter’s saying, change your mind. You thought he was an imposter. That’s why you crucified him.

Change your mind and realize he is indeed the Savior. And then what? The word baptize from the Greek means to cleanse, to wash. And we find here he’s talking about being cleansed now or washed of your sin. And how? Not by water. Not by water. He says be baptized or washed or cleansed in the name, in the name of the Lord Jesus. So we notice here it’s a baptism in the name of Jesus Christ and the consequences will be too.

You’ll receive the remission of your sins and you’ll receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Now if this is talking about water then obviously you cannot have your sins forgiven and you cannot receive the Holy Spirit without being water baptized. That doesn’t match up with the rest of scripture, that is for sure. We know that people have received the Holy Spirit before they were water baptized. If you look at Acts chapter 10, it tells us there that the people at the household of Cornelius believed and they received the remission of their sins and then Peter says in verse 47 of Acts 10, can any man forbid water that these should not be baptized which have received the Holy Spirit as well as we.

So we notice there that they had already been forgiven, they had already been saved, but yet they had not been water baptized. They had received the Holy Spirit even though they had not been yet water baptized. Peter says in verse 47 of Acts 10, can any man forbid water that these should not be baptized who have already received the Holy Spirit as well as we? Wow! So they were already saved. And obviously that is a passage that would help us interpret Acts 2 to make sure that we understand that it’s not water here because They in Acts 10 got saved by simply believing with no water baptism, and then they were said to do not to be forbidden to be water baptized, now that they had been saved and received the Holy Spirit.

So in any case it says here be baptized in the name. Now, you might be a little bit reluctant to accept that, but you know there are ten different baptisms taught in the New Testament, and most of them are dry and do not involve a liquid at all. There is the baptism of fire, that is not with water. There is the baptism of the Holy Spirit, that is not with water. There is the baptism of Moses, that is not with water.

There is the baptism of death, that is not with water. And so on and so on. So there are numerous baptisms that are taught in the New Testament, ten of them in their entirety. And by the way, I have a CD series on the ten baptisms of the New Testament. Also a number of articles that you can receive that will talk to you about water baptism and its proper role. It is a Testimonial on the part of somebody who’s already been saved of how they’ve been cleansed of their sin by the blood of Christ.

Hank Lindstrom. Please make plans to join us and open your Bible as we also present in-depth studies covering a variety of biblical topics. Now let’s return to our question and answer segment and then we’ll We’ll hear more Bible teaching from Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Gary, welcome to Bibleline. Hey, how you doing today, Dr. Hank? Good. I was wondering if you could speak to people that when you tell them about Jesus…

Sure. All right. Go ahead. I’m going to hang up and listen. All right. Well, Jesus is of course is God also the second member of the Godhead. But he came to the earth and took on human flesh and went to the cross to die for. Your sins in mind and he therefore is the Savior. He is the one who came to pay your sin dead and Jesus said, and here’s the answer John 14 6 Jesus said I am the way I am the truth.

I am the life. No man cometh under the Father, but by me So Christ is the way to the Father and he says no man can come no man can come under the Father except by me. So the entrance into heaven is Christ. Jesus said, I am the door. By me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved. So the entrance into heaven, the entrance into salvation is Jesus himself. And Peter said it very clearly in Acts, chapter four and verse 12.

Peter, the apostle said, neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. So Peter made it very clear, Acts chapter four, verse 12, that there’s only salvation in Christ. And the Bible says in John 1, 12, to as many as received Him, Him being Christ. To them, God gave authority for them to become the sons of God, to them that believe on His name. When you trust on His name, believing that Christ died for you, that He was God in human flesh, who came to take your place at the cross and pay the sin that you owed by His death in your place, that God then saves you.

So Christ is the way to heaven. He is God, but He came and took on human flesh, and He died on the cross, or the man Jesus died, in order to provide eternal life for you and for me. Good news, but you cannot go to the Father, you cannot enter heaven apart from Christ. Verse 12 of 1 John 5 says, He’s that hath the Son, hath life. He’s that hath not the Son of God, hath not life. So the difference between heaven and hell is whether or not you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

Without him you cannot be saved. We’re now going to Joel in Clearwater. Welcome to Bibleline. How are you doing pastor? Good. One quick question while you’re on the church with the gay bishop and Ed. Do you think as in Daniel 11, 37, the Deantecrist will be gay? no i don’t think that all it says that he does not regard the desire of women it doesn’t say he doesn’t desire women so i don’t think the antichrist is gay at all when it says he doesn’t regard their desire i think he doesn’t regard the natural desire the woman to have a home and to have children he disregards that and she’ll be working in the workforce and fighting in the military and already see that coming to pass every day already ever since four or two women have gone to the factories into the workplace Now more recently we have them fighting side by side with the other soldiers in the field.

I think that’s the Antichrist position is that they are not going to get cut any slack because they want to stay at home and have a child. They’re going to be required just like the men to do the same job as a man. So I think that’s what I’m talking about. I really don’t think he’s gay. Well, I think on that one, they say, well, you know, that the people, you know, everybody steal everybody, because this is not any worse for them to do that.

You know, I’ve heard that I don’t buy that one, but how do they think they get around that one? That one thinks not as bad as the other when you’re leading, you know, your church and you openly rebel against God. Well, you know, it certainly is violating the scripture big time. And then also, if you have a parent, you’re going to have children, you don’t want your children exposed to that. You don’t want them to be taught by somebody that’s a leader in the church that that lifestyle is acceptable with God.

Because that’s exactly what’s being said, whether it’s said openly or not, if you have a gay leader and you’re bringing your child under that leadership, you’re saying it’s okay, whatever that guy does is right because he’s the leader of the church, I think it’s wrong. I agree 100% and I don’t know what Bible they read but it’s not the one we follow that’s for sure. Thank you. God bless you and have a good day. You too. Thank you Joel.

That was a prophet in the Old Testament I think. Of course you know the Prophet Joel that’s a three chapter book and it’s just full of wonderful information about the end times. Maybe you’re listening and you’ve never been sure of eternal life. Why not whisper that prayer and trust the Lord right now. You could say Lord I’m a sinner I don’t understand much about about the Bible that I believe Jesus Christ did indeed died for me on the cross.

I believe he was buried. I believe he rose again from the dead. I trust him as my savior, as the one who died to forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. And the moment you trust Christ is your only hope of heaven, God of an heaven saves you. You can be sure of going to heaven. Then you need to make a second choice. That’s to live for the Lord. Now I’ll bring about blessing and reward in your life and in eternity.

If you’re disobedient, God will spank you. He might take you home to heaven early. But once you trust Christ, you are saved forever. Growing to Tom in Tampa, welcome to Bible Ant. Good morning, my brother, God bless you. Thank you for taking my call. I wasn’t got a call today because you were talking more about salvation and those things earlier, but then the caller called in and asked the question about sodomy and we’ll actually touched on the issue about what this recent event in the Episcopal Church.

I’ve been doing a little bit of studying ever since this really hit the limelight, a little bit more intense study. And they’re in Romans chapter one, I’m sure you’re familiar with the passage the latter half of that chapter. But there’s two phrases that I’m really working on, and I was wondering if you might be able to help me out a little bit. One is the phrase that God gave them over to a reprobate mind. I understand the implications and you have done the word studies on the individual words, but the concept of gave them over.

I guess the significance or the duration of that, understanding that all sin is forgivable, apart from the blasting of the Holy Spirit. And then the last verse, the last couple verses where it talks about not only those that do such thing but those that have pleasure and then really understanding that word pleasure in the light of toleration or acceptance. And I just wanted to if you could talk on that for just a little bit and I’ll hang up and listen.

All right. We’ll sure do that. Thank you, Tom. Thank you. Romans, chapter 1, you know it’s interesting. It tells us that God gave them up unto vile affections which is disgraceful passions or desires. Basically it’s talking here that when a society gets to its end, apparently there is the breakup of the home and the breakup of the marriage. I just heard yesterday that in Florida 60% of all marriages end in failure today. 60% of all marriages in Florida wind up in divorce.

That is incredible. And what happens in this type of environment, then they go beyond that to same-sex marriages and so on or relationships. And it says here, for even their women to change the natural use into that which is against nature, and likewise also the man leaving the natural use of the woman burned in their lust one toward another. So here we have this type of a new presentation where people are thinking in terms of having a relationship with the same sex.

And I just talking to a teenager this week, 14 years of age, attracted to another girl, a girl with a girl. This is part of the end times and I think that this is what we’re seeing happen here. You know when Greece ended, it ended with the breakup of the marriage and the large manifestation of homosexuality. If you go there and you see the statues or the sculptures of that time and it depicts homosexuality. Rome, when it was at its end and fell, same thing happened.

I went to Pompeii where the Mount Vesuvius exploded and the gases came and killed the people there in Pompeii, and they were frozen as they were as they were whatever they were doing in those last hours of their lives. When we were in Pompeii, the guide said, would you men like to see the artwork of and Pompeii and he sent the women off to shop which they always love to do. Later I regretted that I said yes on that because they took a key and unlocked the padlocks and lifted up these plywood panels that covered the artwork and Pompeii.

It was all homosexual acts. I still have those pictures in my mind because they just got locked in. I didn’t know that I was voting to say I would want to see this, but then I said to myself, well, no wonder God destroyed Pompeii. And Rome fell as a result of this inner corruption. And I believe America is about there right now that we have done the same thing. We’ve allowed ourselves to depart from the Bible and God gives us up to do whatever.

And then he’s gonna bring judgment, of course. And it’s happening before our very eyes. And of course it says in verse 32, which Tom just mentioned, who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commits such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. So here we know that God is convicting people, and homosexuals know what they’re doing is wrong and against God’s word. But also, they continue doing them and have pleasure in those that do it, and also themselves in doing it.

And it’s a part of what’s gonna happen as God will bring final judgment. I think we’re close. I think the Lord’s gonna come back, and then the Lord’s gonna destroy all unbelievers at the end of the tribulation period and finally bring about a kingdom of peace on earth goodwill toward men and only the believers who become believers in the tribulation period will enter into that thousand-year will be the kingdom we’re going to go now to bill and bill is in valarico florida bill welcome to bible and you’re on the air okay you’re on WATCHEDgovtrack uh…

yet to do it fireweight but go you’re on the air oh yeah okay good alright i got dropped off before i’m sorry i was a mistake okay alright i have actually two questions and two questions are i believe it’s in the gospel of the form cross that you will be with me today in paradise you know that’s the twenty three forty three okay and none of the other gospels record that they say that they all reviled him well it also says that it looked to in that passage as apparently reason it out and put his trust in christ and christ said today that should be with the in paradise all the hospitals say that they reviled him okay i i couldn’t i i’d never do anybody did the answer that and okay the second question i have okay you believe there’s different degrees of punishment health correct absolutely

okay now if everybody winds up in the lake of fire does that sort of negate that or does how did you know how did that work that’s what i’m trying to figure that one out well i’m not too sure exactly how that works because uh… it doesn’t really explain it but apparently some will maybe it’ll be hotter i don’t know but in any case satan is the worst punished in hell and then his angels and then those of the of mankind And some sins are going to bring about a greater degree of punishment than others.

And I think primarily they’re in the realm of spiritual sins. That is the amount of light you rejected if you rejected Christ, and also how you received the word of God or did you reject it and so on. That wraps up today’s question and answer segment. So when Daniel talks about the Israel will be protected from the anacrist and from Satan for a time, times and half a time the book of Revelation gives us the exact length of time and we know it’s now three and a half years.

You couldn’t have known that if you only had the book at annual. The book of Revelation was required to give us that information. Verse 15, the serpent casts out of his mouth of water as of a flood after the woman that he might cause her to be carried away with the flood. I believe that’s symbolic of military troops. And in Isaiah and other places we don’t have time to turn, it talks about troops coming like a flood. And So when the Antichrist sends out his troops against the Jews.

The Earth opened her mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. So Israel will be in the tribulation. That is those Jews in Israel that are believers and read the instructions as to what to do. flee to Petra. Matthew 24 tells them what to do when they see the Antichrist put his image in the temple in Jerusalem. Verse 17, the dragon was wrath with the woman Israel and went to make war with the remnant of her seed.

So he makes war against Jews around the world and we find another holocaust will occur and make the one that Hitler had look small in comparison. We believe that nine-tenths of the Jews around the world will be killed by the Antichrist and two-thirds of the Jews in the state of Israel. So that means millions and millions and millions of Jews will die. Difficult time ahead is called the time of Jacob’s trouble and is the time of God preparing Israel to receive her Messiah and no be a remnant that will be spared that will be alive when Jesus comes back into the Second Coming.

13. I stood upon the sand of the sea. I believe it’s the Mediterranean Sea. So a beast rise up out of the sea. That’s the Antichrist who comes out of this Roman Empire culture and76561 we believe of course it comes out of the United States and we are the inform of that as we are the country that was spawned by Europe and is younger than and stronger than and we are the country out of which the little horn will come.

The beast has seven heads, ten horns, opponents heads, ten It’s ten horns, ten crowns, pawns heads, and a name of blasphemy. We’ll stop and hold that now it will be interpreted in chapter 17. The beast, which I saw, was like a leopard. Daniel’s image is a good way of looking at everything. It was one composite image that was comprised by five major World ruling powers beginning with the Babylon and the Ametoprasian Empire, the Grecian Empire, the Roman Empire and then the In-Time Empire that we see coming together today.

When you read Daniel chapter 7 it talks about 4-8. four different beasts that described those world empires. And the leopard was a picture of the Grecian Empire. And so the beast which I saw was like a leopard. The Grecian Empire was swift in concrete. You remember Alexander, just a young man wept because he had no more world of concrete. He was so quick he just went out there and just tore up the world in lightning speed. And so will be the in-time form of government that’s under the control of the Antichrist, it’ll be swift.

Look how swiftly we moved to Iraq and took them on. We can move our armies around the world today. Interesting. His feet, nose-where is the feet of a bear. The bear was a picture of the Medo-Persian Empire, spoke of the tremendous force that a bear has in strength, the strength of the Western Empire under the control of the Antichrist. We are the undisputed world superpowered today. His mouth was as the mouth of a lion. The Babylonian .”[ The fire was pictured by the lion and it’s eloquence and so on and it’s grander and it’s beauty.

And so the lion was a picture of that. And so it’s a composite of all these empires put together, the end time empire under the Antichrist. The dragon that Satan gave him the Antichrist, his power and his seat that is his throne and great authority. So Satan empowers the Antichrist. I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death and his deadly wound was healed and all the world. world wondered after the beast. This has probably a couple of meanings we’ll tell you one right now.

In Revelation chapter 17 it talks about seven heads and says that there’s a double meaning to that. I’ll give you one of the meanings tonight. The seven heads it says are seven world empires and it begins with Egypt as a major power then Assyria then Babylon then the meet-up person empire the migration empire, and then Rome, and then the last and final empire. One of these was wounded as in the death. We believe that is like Rome. Rome seemed to just kind of fizzle out and die, but it comes back to life.

And we’ve seen Europe come back to life, haven’t we? The countries were part of ancient Rome. And we’ve seen that in the European common market as these countries of ancient Rome have come back together and are powerful today. And We believe that the anochrist will become head over them as they head of this country. And so in a sense, there’s been a bringing back to life of ancient Rome, that the Roman Empire has become revived in a sense in what’s happened in Europe today.

Verse 4, and they worshiped, notice the dragon. And so satanic worship becomes more and more open. And right now we’ve seen the beginnings of some of that with the… Harry Potter series selling millions and millions and millions of books and popular among our children. And we have people that are taught in that book how to make incantations and appeals to the devil and so on. And I believe it’s the way being prepared for in the tribulation period where more and more open worship of Satan will take place.

It says that they worship the dragon which gave power from the Antichrist and they worship the Antichrist. And the Antichrist will claim that he’s God, and the man to be worshipped, as he places his image in the temple in Jerusalem. Then it says about him, who is able to make war with him? Already, as I believe the Antichrist will come out of this country, people around the world are taking note of our military power, aren’t they? And countries are making decisions based on, we don’t want to go to war with the US.

Right? Because they will look at what we did. I mean, Russia had an awful long time struggle in Afghanistan and just backed out and had their tail between their legs. We came and took them down one, two, three. And we took Iraq down as well. And the United States has incredible military might. People are going to say around the world, who’s able to make war with the Antichrist? As he controls the greatest, most powerful military mechanism that’s ever existed on the planet.

And notice it says in verse 5, and it was given unto him the Antichrist, a mouth-speaking great things and blasphemies, and power was given unto him to continue how long? 42 months. That’s half of the tribulation period. He rises to power during the first three and a half years, and he reigns in power, our EIG, N.S. Hard word to hear because you think about it, reign the kind that gets you wet, but he will reign on the earth for a period of 42 more months, the last half of the tribulation period.

He opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, the blasphemy his name is tabernacle and them that dwell in heaven. So the Antichrist is obviously empowered by Satan and hates God and curses God and his people and those in heaven. Verse 7, it was given unto him to make war with what group the saints. He’ll turn against Christians. Believers become believers during the tribulation period who do not receive his mark will be executed if they can be found and hunted down and killed.

And so he’ll make war with the saints and overcome them and power was given unto him over all kindreds and tongues and nations so the Antichrist will have a great deal of power on the planet Earth. Be sure to tune in to another edition of Bibleline from Calvary Community Church in Tampa, Florida. I have a CD series on the 10 baptisms of the New Testament. Also a number of articles that you can receive that will talk to you about water baptism and its proper role. It is a testimonial on the part of somebody who’s already been saved of how they’ve been cleansed of their sin by the blood of Christ. Let me give you another passage to give you an example of what I’m saying here and how This is not something I just made up, but if you turn to 1 Corinthians chapter 9 1 Corinthians chapter Well, we’re gonna go to chapter 6.

Excuse me 1 Corinthians chapter 6. It says in verse 11 About many of the Corinthian believers. He says and such for some of you First Corinthians 611, but you are washed. You are washed. And it says you are sanctified, you are justified. And then it says in the name of the Lord Jesus. Exactly the same thing that we’re reading about in Acts 2.38. Here Paul is talking to the Corinthians believers and he says you are washed in the name of the Lord Jesus.

You are washed in the name of the Lord Jesus. So there is such a thing, A cleansing, a washing of your sin that occurs when you put your trust in Jesus Christ and in the authority of Christ who is God in human flesh, your sins are washed away. Revelation 1-5 says unto him that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood. It’s only the blood that can wash away your sin, not water. The hymn writer got it right when he said, What can wash away my sin?

The answer is nothing but the blood. Nothing but the blood. Nothing but the blood. Not water. Nothing but the blood. And so Acts 2.38 is not teaching water baptism. Peter is saying, Change your mind and be cleansed or washed when you put your trust in the Lord Jesus and He will forgive your sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. a very much a peril passage in Acts 10. We have people, Peter’s preaching, same message, and they believe and they receive the remission of their sins.

They receive the Holy Spirit. So salvation has been received without water baptism. And in Acts 10, 47, Peter says, can any man forbid water that these should not be baptized which have received the Holy Spirit as well as we? By the way, I’ve done about 40 classes, And we have on CD the book of Revelation, the book of Daniel, the class I taught on the Holy Spirit, the class on the Rapture, class on parables, the class on how to lead souls to Christ.

We have different wonderful books in the Bible, like the book of Jude, the book of Hebrews, the book of Romans, and many, many, many, many more. You might inquire, call our 800 number, we’ll be glad to ship out to you a resource sheet, which will allow you to look over all the different things that we have to offer. Plus, you can call our operators and they’ll be glad to tell you about maybe a class, a course that might be of particular interest to you.

We have people across the country that use many of these as a facilitator for a Bible study, especially the book of Revelation. They’ll play maybe 30 minutes, have group discussion, and each week they’ll continue on, and we’ve had wonderful reports from all across the country of people using these teachings as a means of facilitating that study. You might want to inquire about how to get these series and use them in your car, use them in your home, use them in your Sunday school class, use them in a home Bible study, but they will really work for you.

And we cover the verses very thoroughly, verse by verse right through the different books of the Bible and covering different topics thoroughly. I think you’ll enjoy the series that I’ve taught. In any case, we’ve got to run, but we’ll be back tomorrow. So keep looking up. Jesus is coming. We’ll be able to see you. God bless. Have a great day. We’ll see you tomorrow here on Bible Life.
